In this randomized, double-blind, sham-controlled study, the investigators will evaluate whether a 15 day treatment with 1 Hz of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) can improve symptoms (motor symptoms and non-motor symptoms) in patients with MJD.

The investigators conducted a single-center, open-label, parallel-group randomized controlled trial to assess the efficacy and safety of a Chinese herb compound granule Huashi Baidu granule (HSBDG) in pediatric patients with laboratory-confirmed mild COVID-19. 108 recruited children (aged 3 to 18 years) with laboratory-confirmed mild COVID-19 were randomly allocated 2:1 to receive oral HSBDG for 5 consecutive days (intervention group) and to receive compound pholcodine oral solution for 5 consecutive days (control group). The negative conversion time of SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid and symptom scores were recorded.

Color Doppler Ultrasound in Lacrimal Sac Space-occupying Lesions

Dacryocystitis and nasolacrimal duct obstruction are the main common causes of epiphora. Dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) is a widely used and effective treatment for dacryocystitis and nasolacrimal duct obstruction. Among these cases, some patients have space-occupying lesions in the lacrimal sac area, such as dacryoliths, mucoceles, granulomas, and even tumors. For patients with lacrimal sac tumors, a more complex treatment plan needs to be adopted, and the severity of the disease and the complexity of treatment should be informed before surgery, since more than 55% of lacrimal sac tumors are malignant. Therefore, preoperative diagnosis and identification of lacrimal sac space-occupying lesions is important. For lack of imaging examinations, and the symptoms of patients with space-occupying lesions are often similar to those of dacryocystitis and nasolacrimal duct obstruction, which lead to the diagnosis of lacrimal sac space-occupying lesions was not discovered before DCR. CDU has been used for the observation of lacrimal gland tumors. This study has attempted to assess the CDU and CT dacryocystography characteristics of the lacrimal sac space-occupying lesions.

Background This study aimed to confirm that alterations in Doppler parameters of superior mesenteric artery(SMA) blood flow caused by intestinal hypoperfusion are associated with prolonged mechanical ventilation(PMV) in patients after cardiac valve surgery. Methods The patients' basic hemodynamics parameters, and the SMA blood flow parameters monitored by Doppler ultrasound were collected in the supine position at admission. The length of mechanical ventilation continued to be monitored. The SMA Doppler parameters were measured again when the patient was extubated. PMV was defined as MV≥96 hours.
