NCT ID: NCT03408964 Recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Valid Biomarkers in Blood to Predict the Response to Therapy in Prostate Cancer Patients

Start date: December 15, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Participants to the study will be assigned to 5 cohorts according to the stage of disease and planned antitumor treatment at time of study entry. In all patients, 12 ml of blood sample will be collected in EDTA tube for analysis of biological biomarkers in different time points.

NCT ID: NCT03407989 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Diabetic Nephropathy

SWIDINEP a Swiss Diabetic Nephropathy Cohort

SWIDINEP
Start date: January 1, 2014
Phase:
Study type: Observational

With our SWIDINEP cohort, we propose to explore the relationship between vascular risk markers and renal function decline in CKD stage 1-5. In order to realize these goals, we intend to recruit 200 patients within a 7y recruitment period (2014-2021). Recruitment is done in the nephrology and diabetes ambulatory clinics in the CHUV at Lausanne. Each eligible patient is identified and whether he/she can be proposed the study is discussed with the physician in charge of the patient. Once the patient is informed and has signed the consent form, he/she is examined in the Service of Nephrology at baseline, 2y and 5y.

NCT ID: NCT03406650 Active, not recruiting - Urothelial Cancer Clinical Trials

Neoadjuvant and Adjuvant Durvalumab in Combination With Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy in Patients With Operable Urothelial Cancer.

SAKK 06/17
Start date: May 15, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The main objective is to demonstrate that the addition of neoadjuvant and adjuvant immunotherapy with durvalumab, to standard neoadjuvant chemotherapy (with cisplatin/gemcitabine) and surgery in urothelial carcinoma could improve event-free survival.

NCT ID: NCT03405922 Completed - Hemorrhoids Clinical Trials

Perianal Nerval Block in Proctological Interventions

Start date: February 1, 2018
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to evaluate whether a local perianal block performed during a proctological intervention can reduce the postoperative pain.

NCT ID: NCT03405558 Completed - Physical Activity Clinical Trials

Performance Developement of Patients With Paraplegia During First Rehabilitation

Start date: January 1, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

A high physical fitness is crucial for a good quality of life in persons suffering from a spinal cord injury. The aim of the present observational study is to investigate the influence of an individually tailored 8-week endurance training program on endurance performance of patients with a paraplegia during their first rehabilitation.

NCT ID: NCT03402997 Completed - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Tissue Resistivity in Breast Cancer Patients

Start date: December 15, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The resistivity measurements will be done by introducing a needle-probe into fresh healthy, peritumoral, and tumoral ex vivo tissues.

NCT ID: NCT03402841 Completed - Clinical trials for Non-Germline BRCA Mutated Ovarian Cancer

Multicentre Study of Olaparib Maintenance Monotherapy in Platinum Sensitive Relapsed Non gBRCAm Ovarian Cancer Patients

OPINION
Start date: January 30, 2018
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of the study is to assess the efficacy and safety of single-agent olaparib as a maintenance treatment in patients with relapsed High Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer (including patients with primary peritoneal and/or fallopian tube cancer) or high grade endometrioid cancer who do not have known deleterious or suspected deleterious germline BRCA mutations (non-gBRCAm) and who had responded following platinum based chemotherapy

NCT ID: NCT03401099 Completed - Clinical trials for Atrial Flutter Typical

Cryoballoon Ablation as First Line Treatment of Atrial Flutter

CRAFT
Start date: August 17, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Current guidelines recommend radiofrequency catheter ablation of the cavotricuspid isthmus as treatment for symptomatic/drug-refractory atrial flutter, in spite of the fact that recurrences of flutter and incidence of post-ablation atrial fibrillation are common. In this study, the investigators assess the hypothesis that the use of cryoballoon Pulmonary Vein Isolation ('novel' treatment) to achieve the electrical disconnection between the pulmonary veins and the heart will lead to higher rates of freedom from abnormal heart rhythms (atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation, or atrial tachycardia) and more improved quality of life than treatment using heat energy (radiofrequency ablation) directed at the cavotricuspid isthmus ('conventional treatment').

NCT ID: NCT03400332 Active, not recruiting - Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study of BMS-986253 in Combination With Nivolumab or Nivolumab Plus Ipilimumab in Advanced Cancers

Start date: February 12, 2018
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to investigate experimental medication BMS-986253 in combination with Nivolumab or Nivolumab plus Ipilimumab in participants with advanced cancers.

NCT ID: NCT03400319 Completed - Clinical trials for Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Obstructive Sleep Apnoea in Adolescents With Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm

OSA in TAA
Start date: July 5, 2014
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The objective of this prospective cohort study is to determine the prevalence of obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) in patients with and without thoracic aortic aneurysm.
