There are about 13446 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Belgium. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
For a few years, there has been a keen interest of clinicians and patients for "lighter" antiretroviral strategies based on two- or even single drug regimens rather than the canonical triple therapy, both as initial and maintenance therapy, despite the possibility that ongoing viral replication may occur in some patients under triple-therapy. We will therefore propose such simplification strategy (DTG/3TC) while maintaining triple-therapy (DTG/ABC/3TC) in a control group and will perform an in depth analysis of the replication-competent reservoir in blood and in tissues as well as measurements of residual viremia and immune chronic activation/inflammation.
The FIRST study is an observational, prospective, multi-center, international, single-arm, study. The aim of the study is to collect safety and efficacy information on the use of the silk vista and silk vista baby flow diverter in order to assess clinical safety and performance of the device for treating intracranial aneurysms. All patients with intracranial aneurysm ruptured or unruptured, whatever the localization of the aneurysm, and treated with silk vista or silk vista baby, will be consecutively enrolled in the study. The patient's inclusion and follow up in the study will occur as part of their usual standard of care.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of guselkumab in participants with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis (UC).
This study will evaluate the safety and efficacy of ertugliflozin (MK-8835) in pediatric participants with T2DM on metformin with/without insulin. The primary hypothesis of the study is that the addition of ertugliflozin reduces hemoglobin A1C (HbA1C) more than the addition of placebo after 24 weeks of treatment.
Studying the possible outcome differences between surgery or medical treatment with ulipristalacetate (UPA) solely before 'in-vitro fertilisation/intracytoplasmic sperm injection' (IVF/ICSI) treatment in infertile couples.
Activating mutations in the fms like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3) gene are observed in approximately 30% of patients with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Addition of the multitargeted kinase inhibitor midostaurin to standard chemotherapy prolongs event-free survival (EFS) and overall survival (OS) in patients with a FLT3 mutation. Gilteritinib is a more potent and more specific inhibitor of mutant FLT3 in comparison to midostaurin and has shown promising clinical activity in AML.
The primary purpose of the study is to compare the effectiveness of nivolumab plus concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CCRT) followed by nivolumab plus ipilimumab vs CCRT followed by durvalumab in participants with untreated Locally Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (LA NSCLC).
The main purpose of the study is to examine if periadjuvant (neoadjuvant, then adjuvant) immunotherapy will prolong event free survival in participants with early stage non-small cell lung cancer.
This is a pivotal phase 3 study designed to support an indication for the reduction of cardiovascular risk in patients with established CVD and elevated Lp(a)
A phase 2b study to evaluate the long-term efficacy and safety study of ABX464 50mg as maintenance therapy in patients with moderate to severe Ulcerative Colitis.
