To present the 9. months clinical results of percutaneous Ven Restoration Therapy (VRT), a new method in the treatment of primary femoral vein insufficiency.Twenty four patients diagnosed with isolated primary femoral vein insufficiency between January 2020 and December 2020 were included in the study. Before the procedure, junctional femoral vein diameters and reflux times were measured. CEAP classification and Venous clinical severity scores (VCSS) were recorded. Chronic Venous Insufficiency Questionnaire (CIVIQ-20) were also recorded. Then, VRT was applied percutaneously to the anterior and posterior of the femoral veins of the patients, and the diameter of the femoral vein was narrowed and valve coaptation was achieved. After the procedure, vein diameters and reflux times were measured again. All parameters were reevaluated by calling patients for control at 1.,3., 6. and 9. months.
Myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), including polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, and primary myelofibrosis, may lead to gastroesophageal varices. The quality of life, morbidity, and mortality of MPN patients mainly depend on disease-related symptoms, thromboembolic and hemorrhagic complications. Previous studies have shown that JAK2 V617F has a prominent role in vascular risk and MPN-associated gastroesophageal varices. The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of anticoagulation in patients with JAK2 mutation and gastroesophageal varices.
Varicose vein is a common chronic disease affecting patient's quality of life. High ligation and stripping of the long saphenous vein is the traditional operation for varicose vein. The radiofrequency ablation (RFA) device used for treatment of varicose vein has been available in China since 2014. There are few studies comparing RFA and stripping in the treatment of varicose vein. This study was to investigate the outcomes of RFA and stripping for varicose vein. Patients with varicose veins will be prospectively allocated to RFA group and stripping group. Ultrasound follow-up will be performed to assess recanalization of long saphenous vein at 1 month, 3, 6 and 12 months. Recurrence of varicose vein and improvement of symptoms will also be evaluated. The primary endpoints are technical success, complications and recurrence of varicose vein. Secondary endpoints are duration of operation, blood loss, recovery time, venous clinical severity score, and medical cost. The treatment outcomes will be compared between the RFA group and stripping group. RFA is comparable to traditional stripping in the treatment of varicose vein, however, it is associated quick recovery, lower incidence of complications and higher medical cost.

The purpose of this study is to assess change in patient's symptoms before and after Endovenous Microwave Ablation (EMA) as treatment for varicose veins. At the same time, it is to evaluate the effectiveness of EMA and its treatment outcomes over a period of 1 year.

This study will be looking at the effect of Endovenous Mechano-Chemical Ablation (MOCA) in addition to multilayer elastic compression bandaging vs multilayer elastic compression bandaging only in patients with incompetent great saphenous vein (GSV) and venous ulcers (VU's).
