Study of A166 in Patients With Relapsed/Refractory Cancers Expressing HER2 Antigen or Having Amplified HER2 Gene

Start date: July 16, 2018
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Open-label, Phase I-II, first-in-human (FIH) study for A166 monotherapy in HER2-expressing or amplified patients who progressed on or did not respond to available standard therapies. Patients must have documented HER2 expression or amplification. The patient must have exhausted available standard therapies. Patients will receive study drug as a single IV infusion. Cycles will continue until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity.

NCT ID: NCT03568110 Completed - Quality of Life Clinical Trials

Frailty and Postoperative Outcomes After Gastric Cancer Surgery

TOREGA
Start date: March 5, 2019
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Background. Gastric cancer is an important health care problem even though treatment advances, and it is diagnosed mainly in elderly. Surgery is the main treatment for gastric cancer and is associated with a high rate of postoperative complications and mortality, even higher in older patients. Chronological age seems not to be the main factor influencing the worse outcome of older patients, comorbidities and frailty have also been taken into account recently. Methods. Participation in the study will be offered to all centers that are currently part of the Spanish EURECCA (EUropean REgistry of Cancer CAre) Esophagogastric Cancer Registry. The impact of the frailty on different outcome variables will be evaluated. The main outcome variable will be 90-day mortality after the intervention. Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) will also be evaluated. Objective. The objective of the study is to value the impact of frailty on gastric cancer surgery outcomes therein the Spanish EURECCA Esophagogastric Cancer Registry.

NCT ID: NCT03556345 Completed - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

A Study of RC48-ADC in Local Advanced or Metastatic Gastric Cancer Subjects With the Overexpression of HER2

Start date: July 10, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of intravenous RC48-ADC in local advanced or metastatic gastric patients with the overexpression of HER2.

NCT ID: NCT03550482 Completed - Clinical trials for Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Stage III

Oncoxin® and Quality of Life in Cancer Patients

Start date: November 1, 2017
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

It is expected that additional support with certain micronutrients may improve prognosis, decrease the frequency of side effects and complications and maintain high relative dose intensity of anticancer treatments. Food supplement ONCOXIN (ONCX) contains amino acids, vitamins, minerals and biologically active substances of natural origin with high immunostimulatory and antioxidant activity. Present study is a real world experience study intended to evaluate the efficacy of ONCX in cancer patients.

NCT ID: NCT03549494 Completed - Clinical trials for Head and Neck Neoplasms

Evaluation of Ocoxin®-Viusid® in Advanced Stomach Cancer and Gastric Esophagogastric Junction

Start date: October 25, 2018
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Our main objective is to evaluate the effect of Ocoxin-Viusid on the quality of life of patients with advanced stomach cancer and esophagogastric junction. The Ocoxin-Viusid nutritional supplement is expected to improve quality of life and tolerance to treatment with Chemotherapy.

NCT ID: NCT03541629 Completed - Cancer of Stomach Clinical Trials

Audit of the Spanish EURECCA Esophagogastric Cancer Registry

Start date: July 26, 2018
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Objective. The objective of the study is to verify and validate the data collected in the Spanish EURECCA (EUropean REgistry of Cancer CAre) Esophagogastric Cancer Registry between January 2014 and December 2017 through an audit process. It is also intended to describe the initiation and implementation of this Registry as well as its early outcomes. Methods. An audit of registered cases (esophageal, esophagogastric junction and gastric cancer resectable patients undergoing surgery) from 01/01/2014 to 12/31/2017 and a descriptive analysis of these data will be performed. Expected results. The study could show that the Spanish EURECCA Esophagogastric Cancer Registry is a reliable source of information, valid for carrying out specific and exhaustive analysis that may lead to high quality publications in indexed journals. It is also expected to generate a high impact based on the large number of cases included in the Registry, favoring new research projects. Relevance. The standardization of the data collection is essential to compare outcomes between different centers, regions and countries. This study will allows us to verify the integrity of the collected data as well as its accuracy, a critical aspect to gain credibility for future studies using the Registry data.

NCT ID: NCT03524287 Completed - Stomach Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Robotic Total Gastrectomy for Locally Advanced Proximal Gastric Cancer

Start date: March 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to explore the clinical Efficacy of robotic assisted spleen-preserving No. 10 lymph node dissection for patients with locally advanced upper third gastric adenocarcinoma(cT2-4a, N-/+, M0).

NCT ID: NCT03515356 Completed - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Exercise to Reduce Chemotherapy-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy

Start date: June 13, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This randomized, controlled, pilot experiment will evaluate the effects of an aerobic walking intervention on OIPN (oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neuropathy) in patients with gastrointestinal (GI) cancer who are already prescribed oxaliplatin (85 mg/m2 every other week for at least six cycles) by their oncologists. Oxaliplatin is a standard chemotherapy treatment for invasive GI cancers that causes OIPN in 85-95% of patients.

NCT ID: NCT03500471 Completed - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

Robotic and Laparoscopic Total Gastrectomy With D2 Lymphadenectomy for Locally Advanced Gastric Cancer

This study is a prospective, single-center, non-randomized, controlled, non-blind, and non-inferiority observation trial comparing robotic-assisted total gastrectomy with D2 lymph nodal dissection for locally advanced gastric cancer patients with laparoscopic procedure.

NCT ID: NCT03486574 Completed - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

Research for Associated Genes for Gastric Cancer in Family Member With Affected First-Degree Relatives

Start date: December 7, 2016
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Familial gastric cancer accounts for 10% of all cases, but predisposing genetic variations is unknown except for CDH1 mutation. Because Germline mutation is believed to be a key aspect of cancer predisposition, we plan to recruit persons with 2 or more affected family members in three-generation pedigree. The investigators will perform a whole-exome sequencing using DNA from blood samples of families including gastric cancer patients and non-gastric cancer patients
