Segmental Mobilization vs Entire Spine Mobilization In Lumbar Spondylosis

Start date: March 1, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study will compare the effect of segmental spine mobilization and entire spine mobilization in the patients with lumber spondylosis. There will be two groups ; experimental and control. Half of study group will receive segmental mobilization along with conventional treatment such as moist heat , soft tissue mobilization and traditional stretching exercises and half of study group will receive entire spine mobilization along with the same conventional treatment given to other group.

NCT ID: NCT04113473 Completed - Neck Pain Clinical Trials

An Evaluation of Yoga Therapy for Cervical Spondylosis

Start date: December 11, 2018

NCT ID: NCT03744260 Completed - Osteoarthritis Clinical Trials

Medial Branch Radiofrequency Ablation and Lumbar Multifidi

Start date: January 1, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of lumbar medial branch radiofrequency ablation (RFA) on lumbar multifidi muscle size and clinical spinal stability. Specifically, this study is designed to highlight the comparison of multifidi muscle architecture using ultrasound imaging (USI) and MRI before and after lumbar medial branch RFA. This study will also include a commonly utilized functional assessment of the lumbar spine to evaluate the effects of RFA on lumbar spinal stability.

NCT ID: NCT03542955 Completed - Clinical trials for Cervical Osteoarthritis

Pulse Shortwave Therapy in Cervical Osteoarthritis

Start date: May 1, 2018
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The ActiPatch is an FDA cleared pain therapy device that uses pulsed shortwaves to interrupt pain signals at the nerve. 200 patients will be randomized and divided into an ActiPatch treatment group and comparison analgesic drug therapy group . Subjects will be assessed with the Neck Disability Index (NDI) at baseline and at four weeks and VAS scores will be recorded in order to determine the efficacy of the ActiPatch device compared to Etoricoxib. Cervical osteoarthritis causes chronic neck pain which could potentially be alleviated by the ActiPatch without the use of medication.
