Based on the Watson Model for the Prevention of Postpartum Depression Impact of Psychoeducational Intervention
The postpartum period is marked by significant changes in a woman's priorities, roles, and responsibilities. It is a stressful transition period in which one faces physical and emotional challenges. This stressful transition period. It can seriously affect women's mental health and psychosocial well-being. postpartum depression (PPD) is a common complication in women. PPD in about one in seven women can develop. In addition, PPD is one of the leading causes of maternal morbidity and mortality. Preventive psychosocial and psychological practices are effective in reducing the incidence of PPD. cognitive behavioralist therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy and psychoeducational interventions are among these practices. Counseling, which is traditionally considered as a psychological intervention, is very useful for midwives and nurses. supports a number of theoretical applications and perspectives. Therefore, in order to achieve effective and beneficial results, education should be based on defined and organized theories and models. midwifery and nursing Implementation of care based on a model increases the success of care outcomes. health education Some models in the field allow us to explain the occurrence of behavior and its effect on a particular behavior. Helps us run the health education program to evaluate So about PPD A model selection is necessary for the conceptual framework of knowledge. The model chosen is the change in behavior. should explain their predictive factors and their effects on PPD. Health education in midwifery and nursing and One of the most frequently used models in the promotion of human care is Watson's Theory of Human Care (IBT). This model is love, It consists of the concepts of compassion, respect, trust and people and is a care that evaluates the individual as a whole provides. When the literature is examined, although there are a few studies aimed at preventing PPD, it is seen that PPD is It has been observed that there is no study on model-based psychoeducational intervention in the prevention of In our study, Watson model applied to pregnant women in the prevention of PPD was used to eliminate this deficiency aimed to evaluate the effect of a psychoeducational intervention based on

Instant Message-delivered Brief Internet-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (iCBT) for Post-stroke Depression: a Mixed Method Study
Around one third of stroke survivors develop depression at any point of time following the stroke event. Post-stroke depression (PSD) is associated with negative care outcomes including poorer function, longer hospital stays, increased outpatient and inpatient clinic use, and higher mortality rate. In Hong Kong (HK), the prevalence of PSD within the hospital setting was 36%, and up to 68% in the community setting. However, PSD is seldom addressed in either settings in HK and elsewhere. Meta-analyses reported the effectiveness of Internet-based cognitive behavioural therapy (iCBT), particularly when guided by therapists (d = 0.63). Personalised and synchronous instant message-based intervention guided by therapists is an emerging form of psychological intervention. While such intervention showed medium to large effect (Hedges' g = 0.73) on negative psychological distress episodes including depression, no study has investigated its effect on PSD. The proposed study aims to 1) investigate the effect of therapist-guided brief iCBT delivery through instant messaging applications (e.g. WhatsApp and WeChat) to provide personalised and synchronous PSD support and 2) understand the experience of and compliance with the intervention. 160 community-dwelling stroke survivors with Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9) scores ranging from 5 to 19 indicating mild to moderate depressive symptoms will be recruited and then individually randomised into the Intervention group (n=80) or Control group (n=80). Intervention group will receive 1) instant message-delivered brief iCBT for 3 months at participants' chosen times and frequencies, and 2) therapist-led text or voice message-based PSD support to enhance the effects of iCBT through real-time counselling and practical advice. Control group will only receive messages on general mental health information and reminders to participate in follow-up surveys. The primary outcome is PHQ-9 score at 6 months. Secondary outcomes will include anxiety (GAD-7), perceived stress (PSS-4), loneliness (ULS-8), and quality of life (EQ-5D-5L) at 6 months. The study will strictly follow the CONSORT-EHEALTH checklist. Post-trial qualitative study will be conducted to understand the participants' experience of and compliance with the intervention (n≈20) respectively. This study will provide the first and practical evidence on the effectiveness of instant message-delivered brief iCBT intervention in addressing PSD in HK and beyond.

Establishing Multimodal Brain Biomarkers Using Data-driven Analytics for Treatment Selection in Depression
The purpose of the study is to identify brain biomarkers and characteristics that predict individual responses to treatment of major depression with the antidepressant drug sertraline (tradename Zoloft), a common selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. Our central hypothesis is that brain activity and connections jointly measured with functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and electroencephalogram (EEG) will be able to predict an individual's response to sertraline treatment.

Study of Cognitive Reserve Disorder Affecting Depression in Age- Related Hearing Loss Via Rest State EEG
In this study, patients with aged-related hearing loss with depression and without depression were evaluated by audiometry (pure tone audiometry and speech audiometry), cognitive function assessment (MMSE scale for simple mental state test, MoCA Scale for Montreal Cognitive Assessment), and depressive symptoms assessment (GDS-15 and HAMD), resting state EEG. The ananlysis of resting state EEG included power spectral density, traceability analysis, functional connectivity, microstate, clustering coefficient, characteristic path length, characteristic path permeability, and compatibility coefficient. EEG signals were used to explore the activation of brain regions and poor connectivity of brain regions affected by cognitive reserve dissonance on the level of brain imaging. This paper innovatively explores the influence of cognitive reserve dissonance on depressive mood in senile deafness by means of audiological assessment, cognitive function assessment, depression symptom assessment, resting state electroencephalography (EEG) and other technical means. Auditory and cognitive cortical activation, functional connectivity of brain regions, small-world attributes and microstates were analyzed in senile deafness with or without depression at the brain imaging level.

A Causal Relationship Study Between Anxiety, Depression, and Rheumatoid Arthritis
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a systemic chronic inflammatory disease, and depression and anxiety are among the most common comorbidities in RA patients, with a high prevalence rate. Epidemiological studies have found that joint deformities, severe pain, positive serum RF titers, as well as comorbidities such as hypertension, insomnia, pain, and fatigue are significantly associated with depression and anxiety in RA patients. Currently, clinical studies have found that the relief of depression or anxiety is one of the expected treatment goals for RA patients. Due to the unclear pathogenic factors of depression or anxiety in RA patients, there is a lack of effective clinical treatment options. Therefore, this study will use a "causal inference model" to identify possible "mediating variables" that may lead to the comorbidity of RA and emotional disorders through clinical investigation, aiming to improve the precision of treatment for physicians.

IMPlementation of Evidence Based Facility and Community Interventions to Reduce the Treatment Gap for depRESSion
The goal of this Hybrid Type 2 Implementation-Effectiveness Cluster Randomised Controlled Trial is to reduce the treatment gap for depression through the integrated implementation of interventions in facility and community platforms, in Goa, India. The primary question is to examine whether a community intervention ("Community Model") enhances the demand for, and improves the outcomes of, an evidence-based, brief psychological treatment for depression delivered by non-specialist health workers in primary health care facilities ("Facility Model"). Participants in the Facility Model arm will receive only a psychosocial intervention for depression (the Healthy Activity Program - HAP) while participants in the Community Model will receive both the HAP and the community intervention. We will compare the Facility Model and the Community Model to assess if the latter is superior in increasing the demand for depression treatment in primary care, increasing uptake of treatment by people with depression, increasing treatment completion rates, and reducing the severity of depression.

Treating Comorbid Depression of Patients With Narcolepsy by Intermittent Theta Burst Stimulation: A Preliminary Study
Narcolepsy is a chronic brain disorder. The mechanism is the impairment of brain controlling of sleep and wakefulness. The cause of this disease is still unclear, but common symptoms include excessive day time sleepiness, cataplexy, hypnogogic hallucination, sleep paralysis, and sleep disturbance. Because these symptoms are easily confused together in many situations, it is difficult for doctors to make the diagnosis. Therefore, medical treatment for patients is always delayed. According to previous research report, narcoleptic patients are often delay diagnosis for 10 to 15 years after the onset of the disease. Clearly, to make the diagnosis of narcolepsy is very difficult. Another cause for the delay is the method for diagnosing narcolepsy, which mainly rely on sleep examination instruments and the testing of hypocretin concentration in the cerebrospinal fluid. However, these tests are difficult to carry out in many areas, and diagnosing narcolepsy is still difficult in many countries. To the patients and their families, developing a fast and accurate method or tool for diagnosing narcolepsy is of the utmost importance.
