Filter by:This study compared the efficacy and safety of S1 plus carboplatin (C) followed by S1 with pemetrexed plus carboplatin (C) followed by pemetrexed in patients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) wild type advanced nonsquamous non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC).Patients with previously untreated EGFR wild type stage IIIB or IV nonsquamous NSCLC and Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status of 0 to 1 were randomly assigned to receive pemetrexed 500 mg/m2 or S1(80-120 mg/d)combined with carboplatin area under the curve (AUC) 5 every 3 weeks for up to four cycles. Eligible patients received maintenance until disease progression: pemetrexed or S1. The primary end point of this non-inferiority study was progression free survival(PFS)
A Phase I Study of LXH254 in Patients With Advanced Solid Tumors That Harbor MAPK Pathway Alterations.
Protocol B8011001 is a Phase 1, open-label, multi-center, multiple-dose, dose escalation and expansion, safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics (PD) study of PF-06801591 in previously treated adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic melanoma, SCCHN, ovarian carcinoma, sarcoma, NSCLC, urothelial carcinoma or other solid tumors. This is a 2 Part study whereby the safety and tolerability of increasing dose levels of intravenous (IV) or subcutaneous (SC) PF-06801591 was assessed in Part 1. Part 2 expansion is designed to further evaluate the safety and efficacy of SC PF-06801591 in patients with NSCLC or urothelial carcinoma as well as confirm the recommended Phase 2 dose.
This is a Phase 1b study evaluating a combination of PEGPH20 and pembrolizumab in hyaluronan-high (HA-high) participants with relapsed/refractory non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and HA-high participants with relapsed/refractory gastric adenocarcinoma (GAC).
Currently, whether adjuvant therapy should be applied to Stage Ib non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients who received radical resection remains controversial. There is still no clear evidence that the postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy or other treatments can improve the survival rate for patients with stage Ib NSCLC. Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors (TKIs) such as Gefitinib and Erlotinib are widely accepted as the first-line therapy for Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene mutation late stage NSCLC patients. However the effect is largely uncertain for early stage patients who received surgery. The investigators aim to evaluate the effect of postoperative adjuvant use of Gefitinib for high risk stage Ib EGFR sensitive mutation NSCLC patients.
SF-C002 is a pilot study in patients with newly diagnosed NSCLC suffering from involuntary weight loss. The study is 12 weeks, double-blinded, placebo controlled and the main objective is to study the safety and tolerability of Nutrifriend Cachexia.
Severe radiation-induced lung injury (RILI) occurs in approximately 20% of the lung cancer patients, who are treated with curative chemoradiation. In this study the investigators want to evaluate the prognostic value of baseline cardiac function assessed with echocardiography for prediction of RILI.
Part 1: to assess the safety and tolerability of pyrotinib and to define the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of pyrotinib in patients with Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2)-positive advanced solid tumors (metastatic breast cancer, gastric cancer, or other solid tumors that have no targeted agent as standard of care). Part 2: to estimate the overall response rate (ORR) for patients with HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer (mBC) and HER2 mutant non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) treated at the RP2D (or MTD).
This study is a phase 1 open-label dose escalation study of the immuno-activating monoclonal antibody APX005M in adults with solid tumors. Study is intended to establish the maximum tolerated dose and the overall safety and tolerability of APX005M in 3 different administration schedules.
Nivolumab releases the inhibition of the immune system against human cancers. Dramatic and sustained activity has been observed in advanced lung cancer. Ablation may stimulate the immune system by exposing new tumor antigens. Since tumors that express PD-L1 may be more likely to respond to nivolumab, if ablation increases PD-L1 expression (which has not been studied) this treatment may enhance the activity of nivolumab at both the treated site and in other, non-treated, tumors. Ablation is already an FDA approved treatment for cancer. Nivolumab was recently FDA approved for second line treatment of advanced squamous cell NSCLC. The goal of the study will be to determine if the combination of nivolumab and ablation has higher systemic activity than previously reported with nivolumab alone.
