The purpose of the study is to investigate the effects of non-invasive invasive vagal nerve stimulation on diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain in people with diabetes.
Neuropathic pain is a common complication after spinal cord injury (SCI), which significantly affects the patient's quality of life and may be resistant to pharmacological treatment. In our study, we aimed to evaluate the efficacies of intermittent theta burst (iTBS) and high frequency (10 Hz) repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) by comparing them with each other and with sham stimulation, in the treatment of neuropathic pain resistant to pharmacological treatment in patients with SCI. Question 1: İs rTMS anda iTBS treatment, useful for pain severity and the effect of pain on daily functions, in the treatment of neuropathic pain in SCI Question 2: Are rTMS and iTBS treatments effective in depression in patients with neuropathic pain after spinal cord injury?
A retrospective observational dual center study investigating side effects and major complications after thoracic epidural insertion according to local safety protocols.
This study is a nationwide cross-sectional survey on pain and satisfaction after total hip arthroplasty (THA). Please find the full protocol uploaded on ClinicalTrials.gov
Shoulder, neck, back and temporal pain and herpes zoster pain are neuropathic pain. Preliminary clinical studies have confirmed that injection of freshly prepared HA35 can relieve neuropathic pain. The Exablate 4000 obtained CE Mark for the treatment of Neuropathic Pain in December 2012. The purpose of this post market study is to obtain real world data on the safety and performance of the Exablate treatment for neuropathic pain. The objective of this study is to capture the change in pain intensity, physical/emotional function, and pain impact for patients diagnosed with neuropathic pain who undergo an Exablate treatment.
Therapeutic exercise is one of the therapies used as a treatment for diabetic neuropathy, which is a complication of diabetes. In order to reduce pain and improve the perception of quality of life, a combined therapeutic exercise program will be implemented as an adjuvant and non-pharmacological treatment for diabetic neuropathy.
This cross-sectional prospective study will assess the potential association of more severe sleep apnea after spinal cord injury with more intense neuropathic pain, more severe spasticity, and more significant cardiovascular abnormalities including cardiac arrhythmias and blood pressure fluctuations. In addition, the participants' experience when undergoing home-based sleep screening test or hospital-unattended sleep screening test will be assessed in a semi-structured interview.
This study is to compare the efficacy and safety of pregabalin sustained release tablet and pregabalin immediate release capsule in type II diabetic patients with peripheral neuropathic pain.
