RELATIVITY 059
Start date: November 30, 2021
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to assess the safety, drug levels, immunogenicity and preliminary efficacy of BMS-986213 (nivolumab-relatlimab fixed-dose combination) in Chinese participants with advanced solid tumors.

NCT ID: NCT05133674 Active, not recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

Therapeutic Dose Monitoring (TDM) of Tamoxifen

Start date: April 4, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Tamoxifen is a potent and effective drug reducing the risk of dying from breast cancer in the adjuvant setting. Although more modern drugs have partly replaced tamoxifen, it is helpful in the neoadjuvant and metastatic settings as a single drug. Despite that, in the adjuvant setting, it is a valuable drug. This study aims to validate and study the feasibility of serial assessments, including therapeutic drug monitoring of tamoxifen, 4-hydroxytamoxifen and Z-endoxifen by capillary blood sampling, combined with patient-reported symptom scores. This will provide preliminary data to allow us to develop a future multicentre randomised clinical trial of personalised dose monitoring and adjustment of adjuvant tamoxifen therapy to enhance the quality of life and breast cancer outcomes.

NCT ID: NCT05131815 Active, not recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

The BurnAlong Pilot Study for Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Survivors

Start date: January 10, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this prospective, interventional, single-arm pilot study is to evaluate whether virtually delivered group-based physical activity is feasible for adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer survivors. AYAs who were diagnosed with cancer and have completed cancer treatment will be recruited for this study. This study will enroll 20 participants in total and will last approximately 3 months.

NCT ID: NCT05122715 Active, not recruiting - Oncology Clinical Trials

Demonstration Of A Next Generation PET CT System

Start date: November 9, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The intent of this evaluation is to obtain user feedback on device performance, user preference, image quality, workflow, and new device features, a necessary part of product development. This study will also help to inform protocol development in reducing both scan time and/or radiologic tracer dose. The goal of this study is to collect a library of image data from the hybrid PET/CT system to be used for evaluation and optimization of the image quality of the system in a clinical setting and as comparison with the standard of care hybrid PET/CT system, Discovery MI 25m (DMI5R).

NCT ID: NCT05110131 Active, not recruiting - Lung Cancer Clinical Trials

Evaluation of the Synergistic Impact of Needle and Forceps Biopsy With Electromagnetic Navigation Bronchoscopy

Start date: December 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This randomized crossover study aimed to evaluate whether a multimodal biopsy strategy using both needle and forceps can provide additive benefits compared with a single device for diagnosing peripheral pulmonary lesions with electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy under moderate sedation and assess the comparative yield and discordance between the two devices.

NCT ID: NCT05105971 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Advanced Solid Tumors

Assessment of Safety and Preliminary Efficacy With BAT6026 in Solid Tumor Patients in China

Start date: December 23, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

the main purpose: - Evaluate the safety and resistance of BAT6026 injection as a single agent in the treatment of patients with locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors Acceptability - Explore maximum tolerated dose (MTD) or maximum administered dose (MAD) and be phase II or follow-up clinical The study provides recommended doses and reasonable dosing schedules. Secondary purpose: - Evaluate the single dose and multiple doses of BAT6026 injection in patients with locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors Pharmacokinetic (PK) characteristics of the drug; - Evaluate the immunogenicity of BAT6026 injection; - Evaluate the pharmacodynamic properties of BAT6026 injection; - Preliminary evaluation of the anti-tumor efficacy of BAT6026 injection.

NCT ID: NCT05103358 Active, not recruiting - Cancer Clinical Trials

Phase 2 Basket Trial of Nab-sirolimus in Patients With Malignant Solid Tumors With Pathogenic Alterations in TSC1/TSC2 Genes (PRECISION 1)

Start date: February 15, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

A Phase 2 multi-center open-label basket trial of nab-sirolimus for adult and adolescent patients with malignant solid tumors harboring pathogenic inactivating alterations in TSC1 or TSC2 genes

NCT ID: NCT05102656 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Malignant Solid Neoplasm

Patient Perceptions of the Relational Empathy of Healthcare Practitioners From the Department of Emergency Medicine During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Start date: June 2, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This study investigates patients' perceptions of their doctor's or nurse's empathy during an in-person interaction with the doctor or nurse wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) compared to during a video interaction with the doctor or nurse without PPE. The goal of this research study is to learn whether patients who visit the Acute Cancer Care Center at MD Anderson believe they get better (more empathetic) care from doctors who visit them in person wearing PPE or from doctors who visit them by video call and do not wear PPE.

NCT ID: NCT05095831 Active, not recruiting - Pancreatitis Clinical Trials

EUS Shear Wave for Solid Pancreatic Lesions.

Start date: October 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The diagnosis of pancreas diseases is based on a combination of clinical signs, symptoms, and laboratory tests, but mainly on imaging techniques such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance (MR). However, CT/MR have variable sensitivity and specificity, with certain disadvantages. Endoscopic ultrasound with elastography is an important resource with higher diagnostic accuracy in assessing solid pancreas lesions. Shear wave velocities of healthy parenchyma, acute, chronic and autoimmune pancreatitis, neoplastic lesions of the pancreas must be evaluated and compared.

NCT ID: NCT05094466 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Obesity-Related Malignant Neoplasm

Parent and Family Obesity Intervention in Reducing Obesity Risk in Racial Ethnic Minority Families

Start date: July 16, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This clinical trial compares the effects of parent/caregiver-focused programs to family-focused programs in reducing obesity risk in racial ethnic minority families. Obesity tends to run in families, thus family-based interventions have been strongly recommended. Parent and family obesity programs may reduce obesity risk and ultimately reduce the risk of obesity-related cancer.
