NCT ID: NCT05708027 Active, not recruiting - Atrial Fibrillation Clinical Trials

Thoracoscopic Ablation for Lone Atrial Fibrillation

Start date: January 6, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

Background: Thoracoscopic ablation is an effective treatment of patients with atrial fibrillation. Nowadays, 2 types of ablative devices are available in clinical practice allowing one to perform the thoracoscopic procedure - Medtronic and AtriCure. However, the contemporary clinical literature does not have enough data that would compare these two approaches. Aims: to perform a comparative analysis of the short-term results of two minimally invasive strategies in thoracoscopic ablation for atrial fibrillation. Methods: The retrospective study was performed in which included 232 patients underwent thoracoscopic ablation for atrial fibrillation in two clinical centers for the period from 2016 to August 2021. The patients were divided into 2 groups. The first group was represented by those patients to whom a Medtronic device was applied (n=140), the second group was treated with an AtriCure device (n=92). The patients were comparable in their age, gender, initial severity of the condition. The follow-up consisted of laboratory tests, chest Х-ray, electrocardiography, 24-hour Holter monitor, echocardiography. The structure and prevalence of intraoperative and postoperative complications, specifics of the postoperative period were compared between the two groups.

NCT ID: NCT05706857 Recruiting - Surgery Clinical Trials

Evaluation of the Clinical Impact of Ultra Fast-Track in Patients Undergoing Cardiac Surgery

CARDU-FAST
Start date: January 22, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Single center randomized clinical trial. The main aim is to demonstrate the superiority at the clinical level of the ultra fast-track programs versus conventional early postoperative extubation in patients undergoing cardiac surgery.

NCT ID: NCT05706805 Completed - Clinical trials for Coronary Artery Disease

NAVISCORE PMCF Study ( rEPIC04F )

rEPIC04F
Start date: January 31, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Multicenter, prospective, non-randomized, post-market clinical follow-up (PMCF) study to confirm and support the clinical safety and performance of Naviscore scoring balloon to meet EU Medical Device regulation (MDR) requirements in all the CONSECUTIVE patients treated with Naviscore.

NCT ID: NCT05706519 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Coronary Heart Disease

Metabolomics, Genomics and Nutrition for Cardiovascular Disease Precision Medicine

OMIC-CARD
Start date: December 19, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The objective of this project is to validate, through high-throughput advanced metabolomics techniques, the nutritional assessment tools to be used in the IMPaCT cohort. At the same time, the ability of metabolomics fingerprints of nutritional patterns to discriminate between patients with and without major cardiovascular disease will be identified. Finally, the modification of these predictions will be evaluated based on the genetic profiles. The main hypothesis holds that the integration of metabolomics, genomic and nutritional information will serve to personalize the approach to cardiovascular disease, both in prevention and treatment, and that these tools, in turn, will be valid enough to be applied systematically and efficiently in the IMPaCT cohort.

NCT ID: NCT05705973 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Cardiovascular Disease

Ultimaster Nagomi™ Sirolimus Eluting Coronary Stent System in Complex PCI Patients

NAGOMI COMPLEX
Start date: April 25, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The NAGOMI COMPLEX PMCF (Post-Market Clinical Follow-up) study has been designed to expand the knowledge about outcomes with the Ultimaster Nagomi™ sirolimus eluting coronary stent system (Ultimaster Nagomi™) in complex PCI subjects. The features for a complex PCI are based upon subgroup analysis of earlier published studies.

NCT ID: NCT05704946 Completed - Nursing Caries Clinical Trials

The Effect of Lavender Inhalation on Sleep Quality in Individuals With Coronary Heart Disease

Start date: February 1, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The study is planned to be conducted as a two-group randomized controlled trial to determine the effect of lavender inhalation on individuals with coronary heart disease. Research data will be collected at Çukurova University Medical Faculty Balcalı Hospital Cardiology Clinic between January-June 2023. In the study, at least 56 samples were found to be sufficient for the sample size. The data of the study will be collected using the Personal Information Form and the Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index.

NCT ID: NCT05703646 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Ischemic Heart Disease

Safety and Clinical Performance of the Yukon Choice PC, Yukon Chrome PC & Yukon Choice Flex Stents in Routine Practice

e-Yukon
Start date: March 30, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

The goal of this observational study is to collect safety and performance information in the setting of a large-scale clinical registry. Patients meeting the selection criteria will be included, in chronological order of their implantation. This registry does not require any additional procedures, follow-up interventions, or ionizing radiation for patients. The inclusion period is planned to last 2 years, starting in Q1 2023. The study will be complete when data on all patient's follow-up for one year have been collected.

NCT ID: NCT05702203 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Congenital Heart Disease

Creative Music Therapy in Newborns With Congenital Heart Disease

BOND
Start date: November 22, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In the context of a clinical trial, the investigators will evaluate if parent-infant interaction can be improved by a family integrated, individualised, interactive resource- and needs-oriented music therapy approach in the dyads of infants with congenital heart disease and their parents. This intervention will be compared with the standard of care. Infants allocated to the control group will receive standard care during admission. Standard care includes involvement of a multi-professional team consisting of medical and nursing team, psychologists/psychiatrists, social workers, breastfeeding counsellor, speech therapist, nutritional counsellor and physiotherapists.
