Filter by:The investigators will conducted a hospital-based cohort study in our 15-year experience with DA aimed at investigating the long-term outcomes of the patients with DA, along with analyzing the impact of the tumor characteristics, operations and adjuvant therapy on survival outcomes.
90% of colonoscopies are performed with general anesthesia (GA). GA carries risks and requires a prior anesthesia consultation, a dedicated team and technical platform on the day of the examination. These constraints increase the time it takes to organize examinations. This was particularly highlighted during the recent health crisis. The success of colonoscopy without GA varies depending on the patient's experience of the examination. Any measure allowing better tolerance of the exam is therefore likely to increase its success rate and avoid rescheduling the exam under GA. A 2017 meta-analysis showed that the use of virtual reality (VR) reduced pain and anxiety during care for burn victims, in trauma and oncology. In upper digestive endoscopy, retrospective studies have shown good tolerability of the examinations and a reduction in pain compared to patients with only local anesthesia. Thus, if the VR mask improves the success rate of total colonoscopy by improving tolerance and acceptability, more examinations without GA could be considered. It could also have an economic impact.

The goal of this clinical trial is to learn about effectiveness and safety of washing microbiota transplantation in diabetic gastrointestinal motility disorders participant population. The main questions it aims to answer are: - The risk factors of diabetic gastrointestinal motility disorders in routine clinical data or biochemical tests. - The composition of gut microbiota in diabetic gastrointestinal motility disorders patients and potential pathogenic bacteria. - The efficacy of washing microbiota transplantation in the clinical treatment of diabetic gastrointestinal motility disorders patients and potential factors that may influence treatment outcomes. - The potential mechanisms of washing microbiota transplantation in treating diabetic gastrointestinal motility disorders patients. Participants will be collected fasting venous blood and random stool samples before treatment and at week 12 post-treatment, conducting scale assessments before treatment and at weeks 1, 4, and 12 post-treatment.

This study aims to evaluate the efficacy of fecal microbiota transplantation on the gastrointestinal symptoms, autistic symptoms and emotional behavior symptoms of patients with autism spectrum disorder, and investigate the relations between the brain-gut axis, cytokines and autism spectrum disorder. Fecal microbiota transplantation have the potentials to improve intestinal microbiota composition, regulate immunity, and then improve gastrointestinal symptoms, autistic symptoms, emotional behavior symptoms and sleep of children with autism spectrum disorder. Early intervention at school-age may even benefit development, improve cognition and prognosis.

This study plans to learn if the EvoEndo Endoscopy system can be used to evaluate, provide and follow up care for upper gastrointestinal tract diseases in the bariatric population. The smallest current scope available for such a technique is an adult transnasal endoscope with a larger diameter, a pulmonary bronchoscope or Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) laryngoscope. This study is evaluating a newly Food and Drug Administration (FDA) cleared ultra-slim, single-use, endoscope specifically designed for transnasal endoscopy to evaluate its use in adult upper tract gastrointestinal diseases. If such a technique is successful it could improve the safety, cost, and access of endoscopic care for patients in need of an endoscopic evaluation for a bariatric medical condition.
