Phase:
Study type: Observational

The goal of this qualitative and quantitative cross-sectional observational study is to describe the complexity of the diagnostic pathway for Functional Neurological Symptomatology Disorder (TSNF) in children and adolescents based on the experience of the different protagonists of care (parents, adolescents, caregivers). The main question[s] it aims to answer are: - How do the various stakeholders experiences the care pathway for children and adolescents with a diagnosis of TSNF - What are their expectations regarding the diagnosis and management of TSNF Participants will be enrolled in interviews in which they will describe their experience. Parents will also answer a lifestyle questionnaire.

NCT ID: NCT05733195 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Gestational Diabetes Mellitus

The Study of Biomarker in Early Diagnosis of GDM by Metabolomics

GDM
Start date: May 4, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) refers to abnormal glucose metabolism during pregnancy, in which elevated blood glucose is first found during pregnancy and meets the criteria for diabetes. In recent years, with the increase of obese women of childbearing age, the incidence of GDM has been rising, the current global average incidence is about 14%, and the incidence in China has increased from 2% in 1999 to 5%-8% at present. If one-step diagnosis is used, the rate will be between 13%-17%, which will greatly increase the social burden. Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) significantly increases the risk of diseases for pregnant women and infants, such as abortion and premature delivery, concurrent hypertension, concurrent infection, metabolic disorders, postpartum diabetes, macrosomia, fetal malformation, neonatal hypoglycemia, neonatal respiratory distress syndrome, and so on. It is one of the important public health problems threatening human health. Therefore, the accurate diagnosis of GDM is of great clinical significance for the timely formulation of intervention and treatment measures, reducing the risk of maternal and infant diseases and improving the level of public health.

NCT ID: NCT05730504 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Substance Use Disorders

Evaluating the Effectiveness of Mobile Self-guided Psychological Interventions to Reduce Relapse in Substance Use Disorder

Start date: March 5, 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of mobile interventions in reducing craving and lapses in patients diagnosed with Substance Use Disorder. In a two-armed, randomized controlled trial the efficacy of self-guided psychological intervention delivered via a mobile app (NaƂogometr 2.0) will be assessed. During the course of three months, participants will have access to intervention modules, based mainly on mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). With the use of ecological momentary assessment (EMA), longitudinal data on several variables related to craving and lapse risk will be collected. Additionally, a questionnaire battery assessment - administered monthly - will measure severity of substance dependence, levels of anxiety, depression, and life satisfaction.

We will perform Whole Exome Sequencing on DNA from saliva. We will include: Children with a history of MIS-C; children with post-COVID condition; and controls in order to identify rare, high impact genetic variants in immunological genes and pathways in children with a history of MIS-C or pediatric post-COVID condition.

NCT ID: NCT05706415 Recruiting - Clinical trials for AI Assist in the Diagnosis of Pancreatic Solid Lesions

AI Assisted the Diagnosis of Pancreatic Solid Lesions

Start date: January 21, 2023
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Solid lesions of the pancreas mainly include tumor and non tumor lesions. More than 90% of pancreatic tumor lesions are pancreatic cancer, which is characterized by high mortality and poor prognosis and requires surgical treatment; Non-tumor lesions of the pancreas are mainly inflammatory lesions, which usually do not require surgical treatment, but can be treated with drugs. The common ones are chronic pancreatitis and autoimmune pancreatitis, with a good prognosis. Clinically, the differential diagnosis between them is very difficult. Multi-disciplinary diagnosis and treatment of MDT makes our understanding of pancreatic diseases increasingly rich and in-depth. From disease diagnosis to preoperative evaluation and curative effect evaluation, non-invasive imaging involves almost every link under MDT mode. In view of this, improving the differential diagnosis of pancreatic solid space-occupying lesions on imaging will be more conducive to the diagnosis and treatment under MDT mode, so new technologies such as artificial intelligence should be considered. Our goal is to develop a clinically applicable artificial intelligence system, which uses multiple modes to simulate the routine clinical workflow and assist in the diagnosis of benign and malignant pancreatic solid space-occupying lesions.

NCT ID: NCT05703698 Recruiting - Psychotic Disorders Clinical Trials

EEG Outcomes From Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis

EPIC
Start date: February 2023
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Despite overwhelming evidence for neurocognitive and neurophysiological factors involved in the etiology of psychosis, these factors have never been examined as mechanisms of improvement from CBTp. The first aim in the present study is to examine neurophysiological outcomes from CBTp using electroencephalography (EEG). The second aim is to examine neurocognitive outcomes from CBTp. This is an open-label pilot study. Twenty participants will receive CBTp and will be assessed at baseline and after 4 months.
