There are about 15072 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Turkey. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The aim of the study is to investigate comparison the effectiveness of online aerobic dance exercises versus physical activity counselling in patients with Juvenile Familial Mediterranean Fever.
The aim of this thesis is; The aim of this study is to examine the effect of web-based training based on transtheoretic model on exercise behavior in patients with coronary artery disease. The research is a randomized controlled trial. 114 patient who meet the conditions for research will be included in the study. In collecting data, the Patient Information Form, Exercise Change Phase Short Question Form, Exercise Change Processes Scale, Exercise Decision Making Scale and Exercise Self-Efficacy Scale developed by the researcher will be used.
The aim of this study is to assess the changes in retinal nerve fiber layer due to SSRI treatment in first-attack major depressive patients.
Woman centred childbirth care has become more meaningful and important in today's conditions. Although women-centred childbirth care is frequently mentioned in the literature, it is thought that there are no studies on this subject and it will be beneficial to train midwives on this subject. In this study, it is aimed to examine the effect of online education that will be given to midwives based on the Midwifery Model of Women-Centred Childbirth Care, on both patient-centred care competency and job satisfaction levels.
Caudal block is an easy and effective type of central neuraxial block that is widely used in subumbilical surgeries to provide intraoperative and postoperative analgesia in the pediatric population. Caudal block application with ultrasound (USG) was first applied in 2003. Sacrum, sacral cornular, sacrococcygeal ligament and sacral hiatus can be easily distinguished by ultrasound. The probe is positioned in a horizontal midline position on the lower sacrum. Sacral roots within the caudal epidural space can be seen as hypoechoic ellipses. In addition, anatomical variations of the sacral hiatus and the process area can be clearly observed. A accurate probe use with ultrasound guided is confirmed by advancing the caudal needle in the desired direction, widening in the sacral hiatus with local anesthetic injection, and the turbulence observed during injection into the sacral canal if the color doppler feature is used. Thus, a decrease in complications and an increase in the success of the procedure can be achieved with simultaneous imaging. In addition, in cases where the block is difficult, the in-plane technique can be preferred in the midline plane. The aim of this study is to compare the success rates and postoperative pain levels of caudal block applications with the out of plane technique (probe applied by holding horizontal) and in-plane technique (probe applied vertically), which is routinely applied with ultrasound in pediatric hypospadias surgery.
The World Health Organization (WHO) developed a safe motherhood program in 1987 to reduce maternal and infant mortality. Safe motherhood is maximizing maternal and child health. This is only possible with the highest level of prenatal, delivery and postnatal care. Care has a priority and special place in primary health care services. It increases access to preventive services such as monitoring prenatal and postnatal follow-ups in primary care, pregnant, postpartum and newborn health, immunization, training and counseling, early detection of risk, and decreases unwanted consequences. Home visits are a non-pharmacological and priority method in prenatal care. With this method, when healthcare providers (nurses, midwives) provide healthcare services to women in their own homes, it ensures the support and development of prenatal, maternal, infant and child health together with social, psychological, economic, familial and other factors. Prenatal care in Turkey is such that there will be at least four follow-ups. Current antenatal care guides suggest more contact with pregnant women. This study will examine the effects of pregnancy follow-up with home visits on perinatal outcomes.
The risk of muscle wasting, and sarcopenia is high in the intensive care unit patients and associated with adverse clinical outcomes. The etiology of muscle wasting is multifactorial and medical nutrition therapy plays a key role in treatment and prevention. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of omega-3 fatty acids in the treatment and/or prevention of muscle wasting in critically ill trauma patients.
Patients with COPD that a pulmonologist classifies between Stage 1-2 in accordance with the GOLD criteria and age and gender-matched healthy individuals will be included in the study. In both groups (n = COPD: 17, Healthy: 17), aerobic exercise (AE) in the target heart rate range of 50% intensity, performed by cycling accompanied by blood flow restriction, will be applied.
Patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) classified by a pulmonologist in accordance with the GOLD criteria will be randomly divided into 2 groups. The first group (n = 20) was accompanied by blood flow restriction (CAC), 3 times a week, 8 weeks, 1RMx 30% intensity, 10 repetitions, 3 sets, 30 seconds rest interval, progressive resistance exercise (PRE) and after 5 minutes of rest by cycling. Progressive aerobic exercise (AE) (BFR PRE + AE group) in the target heart rate range of 50-80% intensity will be applied to the second group (n = 20), PRE and AE (PRE + AE group) performed at the same intensity and duration without BFR.
The aim of our study is to compare the effects of NGT-based trunk training, video-based trunk training and video-based trunk training applied with Theratogs in children with hemiparetic type Cerebral Palsy.
