Start date: September 28, 2020
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study will compare the activity of the combination of savolitinib and osimertinib against the combination of savolitinib with placebo to osimertinib in patients with Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Mutation Positive and MET amplified, locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer who have progressed following treatment with osimertinib.

NCT ID: NCT04603495 Active, not recruiting - Myelofibrosis Clinical Trials

Phase 3 Study of Pelabresib (CPI-0610) in Myelofibrosis (MF) (MANIFEST-2)

MANIFEST-2
Start date: April 9, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

A Phase 3, randomized, blinded study comparing pelabresib (CPI-0610) and ruxolitinib with placebo and ruxolitinib in myelofibrosis (MF) patients that have not been previously treated with Janus kinase inhibitors (JAKi). Pelabresib is a small molecule inhibitor of bromodomain and extra-terminal (BET) proteins.

NCT ID: NCT04594369 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Non-Cystic Fibrosis Bronchiectasis

A Study to Assess the Efficacy, Safety, and Tolerability of Brensocatib in Participants With Non-Cystic Fibrosis Bronchiectasis

ASPEN
Start date: December 1, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of brensocatib at 10 mg and 25 mg compared with placebo on the rate of pulmonary exacerbations (PEs) over the 52-week treatment period.

NCT ID: NCT04590417 Active, not recruiting - Drug Interaction Clinical Trials

Assessment of Drug-drug Interactions Between Feminizing Hormone Therapy and Emtricitabine/Tenofovir Alafenamide Concomitantly for Pre-exposure Prophylaxis Among Transgender Women

Start date: October 1, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Recent studies have showed that there were significant drug-drug interactions (DDI) from feminizing hormone therapy (FHT) towards emtricitabine/tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (F/TDF)-based pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) among transgender women (TGW). New strategies for PrEP among TGW who use FHT are urgently needed. Because tenofovir alafenamide (TAF) can achieve higher intracellular TFV-DP levels with lower tenofovir plasma concentrations, it is promising that both plasma TFV and intracellular TFV-DP levels might not be significantly affected by FHT. The current study aims to determine the pharmacokinetics DDI between FHT and F/TAF-based PrEP among TGW.

NCT ID: NCT04578834 Active, not recruiting - IgA Nephropathy Clinical Trials

Study of Efficacy and Safety of LNP023 in Primary IgA Nephropathy Patients

APPLAUSE-IgAN
Start date: January 25, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The study is designed as a multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled study to demonstrate the superiority of iptacopan (LNP023) at a dose of 200 mg b.i.d. compared to placebo on top of maximally tolerated ACEi or ARB on reduction of proteinuria and slowing renal disease progression in primary IgA Nephropathy patients.

IVICHIK001
Start date: August 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study has a Phase II with part A and part B and a Phase III with part C. This Adaptive seamless design will prospectively include planned modifications and incorporate both dose selection (parts A and B) and confirmation of the selected dose (part C) based on the accumulation of subjects' data within the entire study period as shown below. Part C will be randomized for immunogenicity subset and will be open label for safety cohort. The participants assigned to the control group from all parts (i.e, Part A, B and C) will be continuously followed up from the enrollment until the end of the study.

NCT ID: NCT04560998 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2

A Research Study to Compare a Medicine Called Semaglutide Against Placebo in People With Peripheral Arterial Disease and Type 2 Diabetes

STRIDE
Start date: October 1, 2020
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This study is done to see if semaglutide has an effect on walking ability compared with placebo (dummy medicine) in people with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and type 2 diabetes. Participants will either get semaglutide or placebo ("dummy") medicine - which treatment participants get is decided by chance. Semaglutide is a medicine for type 2 diabetes that can be prescribed by doctors in some countries. Participants will get the study medicine (semaglutide or placebo) in a pre-filled pen for injection. Participants must inject it once a week into the stomach area, thigh, or upper arm, at any time of the day. The study will last for about 59 weeks. Participants will have 8 clinic visits and 1 phone call with the study doctor. At some clinic visits, participants will have blood tests. At some visits participants will also do a treadmill test to measure how far they can walk. Women cannot take part if pregnant, breast-feeding or planning to become pregnant during the study period.
