There are about 2143 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Slovakia. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Participants will receive one insulin icodec dose, which will be administered in the morning of the day of dosing. The study will last for about 8 weeks. Participants will have 8 visits with the study doctor in the clinical research unit. Insulin icodec will be injected into a skin fold with a small needle (subcutaneous application) using a pen injector prefilled with a volume of 3 mL (about a spoonful). Participants must not participate if they meet certain conditions called exclusion criteria, such as an age of below 18 years or above 70 years, if participants are over- or underweight, using certain medicines, or have serious health conditions (other than impaired liver function ). Women cannot take part if pregnant, breast-feeding or planning to become pregnant during the study period.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of AZD9977 in combination with dapagliflozin compared with dapagliflozin alone and to assess the dose-response relationship, dapagliflozin alone and 3 doses of AZD9977 combined with dapagliflozin on urinary albumin to creatinine ratio (UACR). The study will be conducted in participants with heart failure (HF) with left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF [below 60%]) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) with estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR [between ≥ 20 and ≤ 60 mL/min/1.73 m^2, with at least 20% of participants with eGFR ≥ 20 to <30 mL/min/1.73^2 and a maximum of 35% of participants with eGFR ≥ 45 mL/min/1.73 m^2]).
The purpose of this research study is to assess the safety, tolerability, efficacy, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of GLPG3667 in multiple daily oral doses in subjects with moderate to severe plaque psoriasis.
This Phase 3 study will evaluate the efficacy, durability, and safety of KSI-301 compared to aflibercept, in participants with macular edema due to treatment-naïve branch (BRVO) or central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO).
The study examines the severity of extraesophageal reflux using oropharyngeal pH monitoring in patients with varying degrees of lower turbinates hypertrophy.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of Olezarsen as compared to placebo on the percent change in fasting triglycerides (TG) from baseline.
Researchers in this study want to find the optimal therapeutic dose of drug BAY1817080 for patients with long-standing cough with or without clear causes (refractory and/or unexplained chronic cough, RUCC). Study drug BAY1817080 is a new drug under development for the treatment of long-standing cough. It blocks proteins that are expressed by the airway sensory nerves which are oversensitive in patients with long-standing cough. This prevents the urge to cough. Researchers also want to learn the safety of the study drug and how well it works in reducing the cough frequency, severity and urge-to-cough. Participants in this study will receive either the study drug or placebo (a placebo looks like the test drug but does not have any medicine in it) tablets twice daily for 12 weeks. Observation for each participant will last about 18 weeks in total. Participants will be asked to wear a digital device to record the cough and to complete questionnaires every day to document the symptoms. Blood samples will be collected from the participants to monitor the safety and measure the blood level of the study drug.
20-valent Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine Safety and Immunogenicity Study of a 3-Dose Series in Healthy Infants
The purpose of this study is to determine if ensifentrine is safe and effective for the treatment of patients with moderate to severe Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
This is a 28-day clinical trial studying the safety of the house dust mite tablet in adolescents with allergic rhinitis/rhinoconjunctivitis. The purpose of this trial is to collect additional safety information about a tablet used to treat house dust mite allergies, when used to treat adolescents who have these allergies. The trial medication used is already approved to treat allergic rhinitis caused by house dust mite in adults and adolescents (12-17 years old) in several countries.
