VISTA
Start date: December 2010
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to determine whether cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) is superior to interventricular right ventricle (RV) septal pacing in respect of reverse remodeling (LV ESD) and morbidity in patients with less preserved (less than 45%) ejection fraction (EF), persistent/permanent atrial fibrillation (AF) who successfully received atrioventricular (AV) junction ablation ablation (100% pacemaker dependency)

NCT ID: NCT01499355 Terminated - Lupus Nephritis Clinical Trials

BIIB023 Proof-of-Concept Study in Participants With Lupus Nephritis

ATLAS
Start date: July 2012
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of the study is to assess the efficacy of BIIB023 as an add-on treatment to background therapy compared with placebo in combination with background therapy in the treatment of participants with active, biopsy-proven Lupus Nephritis. The secondary objectives of this study are to assess the safety and tolerability of BIIB023 compared with placebo in this study population. Participants who complete this study through Week 52 will be offered the option to enter an Extension study under a separate protocol 211LE202 (NCT0193089).

The primary objective of this study is to compare the additive efficacy of SIM versus placebo in combination with leucovorin (folinic acid), irinotecan, and fluorouracil (FOLFIRI) as measured by improvement in progression-free survival (PFS) in participants with metastatic KRAS mutant colorectal adenocarcinoma who have progressed following a first-line oxaliplatin- and fluoropyrimidine-containing regimen.

NCT ID: NCT01476111 Terminated - Neoplasms, Breast Clinical Trials

Evaluation of Specific Biomarkers in Primary Invasive Breast Cancer

Start date: December 2011

This study will examine specific biomarkers in primary invasive breast cancer and explore their correlation with patient outcome following standard neoadjuvant treatment.

NCT ID: NCT01474122 Terminated - Systemic Sclerosis Clinical Trials

Macitentan for the Treatment of Digital Ulcers in Systemic Sclerosis Patients

DUAL-2
Start date: December 2011
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The DUAL-2 study is designed as a multicenter, double-blind two-period study with an initial fixed 16-week Period 1, followed by a Period 2 of variable duration. All patients completing Period 1 will continue on their original randomized treatment into Period 2, until the last randomized patient has completed Period 1. Patients will be randomized in a 1:1:1 ratio (macitentan 3mg: macitentan 10mg: placebo). The primary objective is to demonstrate the effect of macitentan on the reduction of the number of new digital ulcers in patients with systemic sclerosis and ongoing digital ulcers (DU). Other objectives include: - the evaluation of the efficacy of macitentan on hand functionality and DU burden at Week 16 in SSc patients with ongoing DU disease. - the evaluation of the safety and tolerability of macitentan in these patients. - the evaluation of the efficacy of macitentan on time to first DU complication during the entire treatment period.
