Study type: Interventional

This study aims to assess the antitumor activity and safety of JDQ443 single-agent as first-line treatment for participants with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) whose tumors harbor a KRAS G12C mutation and a PD-L1 expression < 1% regardless of STK11 mutation status (cohort A), or a PD-L1 expression ≥ 1% and an STK11 co-mutation (cohort B).

NCT ID: NCT05434286 Active, not recruiting - Cirrhosis, Liver Clinical Trials

Point-of-Care Echocardiography to Assess Impact of Dynamic Cardiac Function, Renal and Cardiac Biomarkers in Cirrhosis With Hepatorenal Syndrome-Acute Kidney Injury

Start date: December 15, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Point-of-care echocardiography (POC-Echo) is used to determine left ventricular systolic and diastolic dysfunction (LVDD), inferior vena cava (IVC) dynamics and volume status in cirrhosis and Acute-on-chronic liver failure ACLF accurately. We will assess IVC dynamics, LV systolic function [LV ejection fraction (EF) & cardiac output (CO)], and diastolic dysfunction (E/e', e' and E/A ratio) and urinary biomarkers (cystatin C and NGAL) in patients with cirrhosis and ACLF with hepatorenal syndrome-acute kidney injury (HRS-AKI).

NCT ID: NCT05430308 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Medical Thoracoscopy

Surgical Site Preparation in Subjects Undergoing Medical Thoracoscopy

CAPTAIN
Start date: April 18, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Medical thoracoscopy is the preferred procedure for performing pleural biopsy in patients with pleural effusions that remain undiagnosed after pleural fluid analysis. Surgical site infections (SSI) and empyema are among the important complications of the procedure. At author's center, povidone-iodine is used for surgical site preparation during MT. The investigators hypothesized that chlorhexidine-alcohol would be superior to povidone-iodine in reducing the rate of infectious complications following thoracoscopy. In this study, the authors propose to investigate the efficacy of chlorhexidine-alcohol scrub in preventing post procedural infectious complications in subjects undergoing medical thoracoscopy

NCT ID: NCT05415215 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Locally Advanced Breast Cancer

A Study to Evaluate Patient Preference for Home Administration of Fixed-Dose Combination of Pertuzumab and Trastuzumab for Subcutaneous Administration in Participants With Early or Locally Advanced/Inflammatory HER2-Positive Breast Cancer

ProHer
Start date: July 5, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase IIIb, multinational, multicenter, randomized, open-label study to evaluate patient preference of the fixed-dose combination of pertuzumab and trastuzumab for subcutaneous use (PH FDC SC) administration in the home setting compared with the hospital setting during the cross-over period of adjuvant treatment in participants with early or locally advanced/inflammatory human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-positive (HER2+) breast cancer.

PHANTOM
Start date: May 19, 2022
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase IIa study to assess efficacy and safety of STN1010904 ophthalmic suspension (0.03%, and 0.1 %), twice daily dosing when compared to Placebo in subjects diagnosed with Fuchs Endothelial Corneal Dystrophy (FECD). NCT ID: NCT05375929 Active, not recruiting - Atopic Dermatitis Clinical Trials

A Study to Learn About Abrocitinib Tablets in People With Atopic Dermatitis in India

Start date: July 16, 2022
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this clinical trial is to learn about the safety and how well the study medicine (called Abrocitinib) works for the potential treatment of moderate to severe Atopic Dermatitis (AD) in India. AD, also known as atopic eczema, is a chronic, relapsing skin condition characterized by dry, itchy skin lesions which can affect any part of the body. Adult peoples who participate in this study will take either 100 mg or 200 mg of abrocitinib tablets by mouth for a duration of 12 weeks and adolescents will take for duration of 52 weeks. Knee Magnetic Resonance Imagine (MRI) will be done on adolescent peoples to determine bone safety findings. We will examine the experiences of people receiving the study medicines. This will help us determine if the study medicines are safe and how well they work.
