There are about 9745 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Israel. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
prospective cardio respiratory evaluation for patients post the Fontan palliation for single ventricle, compared to subjects post successful cardiac repaired surgery compared to healthy volunteers in order to evaluate the functional capacity and the primary etiology for reduction in functional capacity.
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of prolonged effort in long distance running on the biomechanical bilateral asymmetry in the lower limbs of trans tibial amputee running with running specific prosthesis.
20 users of Ness L300, FES device for ankle dorsiflexion will wear the same FES cuff, yet instead of a single channel stimulation, they will be stimulated with two channels. the purpose of the dual channel stimulation is to enable a balanced dorsiflexion, with no inversion/eversion movements. the stimulation will be recorded both in a seated position and during gait
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of aspiration and sclerotherapy during laparoscopy using 95% ethanol for the treatment of endometriomas, compared to the standard cystectomy treatment - a prospective case control study.
In our institute there is ongoing treatment of brain injury patients with Hyperbaric oxygen therapy. These patients undergo neuro-cognitive function tests in addition to brain imaging studies before and after treatment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the perfusion and microstructure changes seen in MRI in addition to the cognitive tests before and after the treatment.
Electrical stimulation therapy for pain reduction was performed already 2000 years ago. In recent years many studies had proved the effectiveness of electrical stimulation in pain management, tissue healing and muscle strengthening. Today there are devices with many types of currents. Each current comes with different statements for its effectiveness and its penetration depth yet there is no consensus on the most effective current in the dimension of penetration depth.
The aim of this study is to estimate the incidence rate of obturator nerve reflex and leg jerking during Transurethral Resections of Bladder Tumors (TURBTs), evaluate the efficacy of obturator nerve block in the prevention of inadvertent muscle spasm, and to identify predictors for both the jerking reflex and successful nerve block.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of discontinuation of colchicine treatment in a specific group of asymptomatic FMF patients with a single mutation in MEFV gene, both from a clinical and laboratory aspects.
The subjet is sitting on a chair and in front of him an adjustable (height) table with a glass of water. 17 passive reflective markers are placed on his upper extremities and torso. The subject is requested to reach the glass (once with the right hand and then with the left hand) and bring it to the mouth and drink. Then the subject put the glass back at the starting position. This is performed twice for each hand. In the second part, the same trial is repeated but muscle activity is recorded with surface electromyography.
The purpose of the study is to investigate if treatment with L-Tyrosine improves selected outcome measures of TNNT1 myopathy.
