NCT ID: NCT03105128 Completed - Crohn's Disease Clinical Trials

A Study of the Efficacy and Safety of Risankizumab in Participants With Moderately to Severely Active Crohn's Disease

Start date: May 10, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of risankizumab versus placebo during induction therapy in participants with moderately to severely active Crohn's disease (CD).

NCT ID: NCT03105037 Completed - Airway Obstruction Clinical Trials

The Effect of Supraglottic Airway Insertion on the Accuracy of Cricothyroid Membrane Identification in Females

Start date: January 31, 2017
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Prospective, observational, study that will examine if a sited supraglottic airway (the igel) will increase the accuracy of identifying the cricothyroid membrane in female patients. Consented patients that meet inclusion criteria are assessed by clinicians under general anaesthesia with and without a supraglottic airway in situ. The accuracy of CTM identification by palpation will be evaluated using ultrasound.

NCT ID: NCT03104413 Completed - Crohn's Disease Clinical Trials

A Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of Risankizumab in Participants With Moderately to Severely Active Crohn's Disease Who Failed Prior Biologic Treatment

Start date: December 18, 2017
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The objective of Study M15-991 is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of risankizumab versus placebo during induction therapy in participants with moderately to severely active CD.

NCT ID: NCT03104322 Completed - Clinical trials for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

Patient-reported Monitoring of Symptoms and Spirometry Via the patientMpower Platform in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

Start date: June 15, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Pilot-scale, open-label, fixed-order, two-period crossover study in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) over 16 weeks. Patients will use an electronic health journal (patientMpower platform) to record treatment compliance, forced vital capacity (FVC; daily), impact of IPF on daily life (weekly) and other symptoms. Objectives are to characterise acceptability of patientMpower platform from patient & healthcare professional perspective, impact of active engagement and self-monitoring using patientMpower platform on Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) in IPF, impact of patientMpower platform on medication compliance and correlation between patient-reported PROMs & FVC and clinical outcomes.

NCT ID: NCT03103542 Completed - Hemophilia A Clinical Trials

Study of rFVIIIFc for Immune Tolerance Induction (ITI) in Haemophilia A Patients With Inhibitors Who Have Failed Previous ITI Therapies

ReITIrate
Start date: August 29, 2017
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The primary purpose of this study is to describe the outcome of Immune Tolerance Induction (ITI) treatment performed with rFVIIIFc within a timeframe of 60 weeks in patients with haemophilia A who have failed previous attempts at tolerization.

NCT ID: NCT03102463 Completed - Insulin Resistance Clinical Trials

The Role of Milk Derived Peptides on Glycaemic Control

Start date: October 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study aims to ascertain the potential of novel milk derived hydrolysates to improve glycaemic control to promote metabolic health. A comprehensive characterisation of the metabolic response to these milk derived hydrolysates will ascertain the effect of the hydrolysates in terms of insulin sensitivity. These hydrolysates have been shown to improve insulin resistance in cell and animal models. Therefore the investigators aim is to test their efficacy in overweight, insulin resistant individuals at risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

NCT ID: NCT03099187 Completed - Clinical trials for Lung Diseases, Interstitial
