There are about 1183 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Indonesia. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The goal of this clinical trial is to compare the use of single dose fosfomycin and single dose levofloxacin as pre-urodynamic antibiotic prophylaxis for urinary tract infection prevention post-urodynamic in patients with lower urinary tract symptoms. The main question[s] it aims to answer are: - What is the difference between the effectiveness of administering a single dose of fosfomycin and levofloxacin prior to the procedure in terms of the incidence rate of urinary tract infection (UTI) post-urodynamic examination? - What is the incidence rate of UTI in the administration of single-dose fosfomycin and levofloxacin prior to the procedure on the incidence rate of UTI post-urodynamic examination? Participants fulfilling the inclusion criteria will be taken their history and vital signs and consume either fosfomycin or levofloxacin based on the randomisation prior to urodynamic procedure. Afterwards, participants will undergo urine analysis 4 days post urodynamic to evaluate if there's any urinary tract infection. If there is any bacteria present, the sample will be cultured to identify bacteria found in the urine.
Hepatocellular carcinoma is a type of liver cancer and is one of the leading causes of global cancer death. Surgical resection of the afflicted areas of the liver is one of the treatment methods for this condition. In this retrospective research, the investigators explore the outcomes of liver resection for hepatocellular carcinoma patients undergoing liver resection from 2010 to 2021 in Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital, Jakarta. The main outcome is mortality and the secondary outcomes are factors predicting mortality after resection.
The goal of this clinical trial is to assess the effect of walking exercise on functional capacity and productivity in patients after Coronary Artery Bypass Graft who have completed phase II cardiac rehabilitation. The main question it aims to answer are: 1. What is the effect of walking exercise on functional capacity and productivity in patients after Coronary Artery Bypass Graft? Participants performed the exercise on the day agreed upon with the researcher. Respondents did walking exercises 3 times per week for 4 weeks with a duration of 10 minutes of warm-up, 30 minutes of walking exercises, and 10 minutes of cooling down. Respondents also did leg straightening every day for 4 weeks with a frequency of 1 time a day for 10 minutes. Researchers compared between intervention and control group to see if the effect between respondents who did walking and leg straightening exercises and also respondents who only did leg straightening.
The goal of this clinical trial is to compare 3% Topical Tranexamic Acid with 4% Topical Hydroquinone as Therapy of Melasma in Patients with Skin Type III-V. The main question[s] it aims to answer are: 1. Is there a greater decrease in mMASI score after application of 3% topical tranexamic acid compared to 4% hydroquinone in melasma patients with skin type III - V? 2. Is there a greater decrease in mexameter score after application of 3% topical tranexamic acid compared to 4% hydroquinone in melasma patients with skin type III - V? 3. Are there any side effects of topical therapy of 3% tranexamic acid cream on melasma patients with skin types III - V? Participants with melasma diagnostic will apply the tranexamic acid cream and hydroquinone cream on both sides of the face differently. Researchers will compare by measuring the mexameter score and mMasi score to see if there any decrease in both sides of the face.
Introduction: Successful colorectal surgery is determined based on postoperative mortality and morbidity rates, complication rates, and cost-effectiveness. One of the methods to obtain an excellent postoperative outcome is the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol. This study aims to see the effects of implementing an ERAS protocol in colorectal surgery patients. Methods: Eighty-four patients who underwent elective colorectal surgery at National Tertiary-level Hospital were included between January 2021 and July 2022. Patients were then placed into ERAS and control groups according to the criteria. The Patients in the ERAS group underwent a customized 18-component ERAS protocol and were assessed for adherence. Postoperatively, both groups were monitored for up to 30 days and assessed for complications and readmission. The investigators then analyzed the length of stay and total patient costs in both groups.

Anterior knee pain which might be due to patellofemoral malalignment is an inevitable post operative complication after an ACL reconstruction (ACLR). We combined the double bundle ACLR technique with lateral release technique to prevent patellofemoral malalignment post ACLR.
Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is one of the most important infertility treatments. Infertility is failure to establish pregnancy (>12 months) with regularly unprotected sexual intercourse. Post-wash total motile sperm count (TMSC) vaguely defined as a predictor of IUI pregnancy rate. The minimum value required is also not clear. This study aimed to further define the relationship and determine the minimum recommended value to achieve a satisfactory IUI pregnancy rate. Post-wash TMSC is predictive of IUI success. No optimal cut-off could be identified. In conclusion, post-wash TMSC is highly suggested as a quantitative predictor along with others in counseling and informed consent. The recommended threshold value is >3 x 106.
