There are about 1447 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Croatia. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of cabozantinib compared with placebo on progression free survival (PFS) and objective response rate (ORR) in subjects with Radioiodine-Refractory Differentiated Thyroid Cancer (DTC) who have progressed after prior vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR)-Targeted therapy.
The purpose of this study is to compare the safety and efficacy of risankizumab versus placebo in participants with moderately to severely active psoriatic arthritis (PsA).
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of zolbetuximab plus capecitabine and oxaliplatin (CAPOX) compared with placebo plus CAPOX (as first-line treatment) as measured by Progression Free Survival (PFS). This study will also evaluate efficacy, physical function, safety, and tolerability of zolbetuximab, as well as its effects on quality of life. Pharmacokinetics (PK) of zolbetuximab and the immunogenicity profile of zolbetuximab will be evaluated as well.
The objective of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of upadacitinib for the treatment of adolescent and adult participants with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD) who are candidates for systemic therapy.
This extension study will evaluate the effectiveness and safety of ocrelizumab in multiple sclerosis (MS) participants who were previously enrolled in a F. Hoffmann-La Roche (Roche) sponsored ocrelizumab phase IIIb/IV trial (i.e. the Parent, P-trial).
Brigatinib is a medicine that binds to the surface of tumor cells in some cancers and delivers a dose of chemotherapy directly to the tumor. In this study, participants will be people with non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC for short). The main aim of the study is to learn if brigatinib stops the tumors from growing, or if the tumors have shrunk or disappeared, compared to a medicine called alectinib. At the first visit, the study doctor will check who can take part. Participants who can take part will be picked for 1 of 2 treatments by chance: - Brigatinib tablets - Alectinib capsules All participants will take brigatinib or alectinib at about the same time every day. They will continue with treatment throughout the study unless their cancer gets worse, they have side effects from the treatment, they leave the study for certain reasons, or the study is stopped. After stopping treatment, participants will visit the study clinic for a check-up 30 days later.
The objective of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of upadacitinib for the treatment of adolescent and adult participants with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD) who are candidates for systemic therapy.
Hyponatremia is the most common electrolyte disorder with a prevalence of up to 30% in hospitalized patients. While treatment of acute hyponatremia with severe clinical symptoms due to cerebral edema is undisputed and straightforward, hyponatremia in general is usually considered asymptomatic or not clinically relevant. Accordingly, a recent observational study showed that appropriate laboratory tests to evaluate the etiology of hyponatremia were obtained in less than 50% of patients, leading to 75% of patients being still hyponatremic at discharge. This is problematic in the context of increasing evidence, revealing an association of chronic hyponatremia with adverse effects such as gait alterations and falls, attention deficits, bone loss and fractures as well as disease-associated morbidity leading to increased rates of readmissions and mortality. Yet, there is a complete lack of randomized clinical trials with the primary aim to investigate whether correction of plasma sodium concentration counteracts the elevated risk of rehospitalization and mortality. The aim of this trial is therefore to determine the effects on mortality and rehospitalization rate of a targeted correction of plasma sodium concentration in addition to current standard care in hospitalized hyponatremic patients.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Mirikizumab in participants with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis (UC) who have had an inadequate response to, loss of response, or intolerant to conventional or biologic therapy for UC.
This study will compare the efficacy and safety of molecularly-guided therapy versus standard platinum-containing chemotherapy in participants with poor-prognosis cancer of unknown primary site (CUP; non-specific subset) who have achieved disease control after 3 cycles of first-line platinum based induction chemotherapy.
