There are about 1447 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Croatia. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The primary objective is to evaluate the anti-viral effect and safety of different doses of inhaled ALX-0171 in subjects hospitalized for Respiratory Syncytial Virus Lower Respiratory Tract Infection (RSV LRTI). The secondary objective is to evaluate the clinical activity, pharmacokinetic (PK) properties, pharmacodynamic (PD) effect and immunogenicity of different doses of inhaled ALX-0171.
This study is designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and efficacy of multiple subcutaneous and/or intravenous doses of PF-06741086 in subjects with severe hemophilia.
Atrial fibrillation is when the heart's two upper chambers (called atria) beat chaotically and irregularly, out of coordination with the two lower chambers (called ventricles) of the heart. This can lead to blood clots forming in the heart chamber. Patients with atrial fibrillation will be treated with either 60 mg or 75 mg of edoxaban for up to 12 months, with a 2-4 week follow-up, after which their participation is complete. Blood samples will be collected before the first dose of study drug (Day 0), and on Days 30, 90 and 360 (at pre dose, 1-2 hours post dose and 4-8 hours post-dose).
To evaluate the safety and efficacy of ibrutinib in combination with prednisone in subjects with newly diagnosed moderate to severe cGVHD.
Study to Compare Ferric Carboxymaltose With Placebo in Patients With Acute Heart Failure and Iron Deficiency (Affirm-AHF)
The purpose of this study is to compare the efficacy of maribavir to investigator-assigned anti-Cytomegalovirus (CMV) therapy in CMV viremia clearance in transplant recipients who are refractory or resistant to prior anti-CMV treatment.
This Phase IIIb, multicenter study will assess the safety of atezolizumab as second- to fourth-line treatment for participants with locally advanced or metastatic urothelial or non-urothelial cancer of the urinary tract in addition to evaluate the efficacy of atezolizumab and potential tumor biomarkers associated with atezolizumab.
This study is about treatment options for cytomegalovirus infections in people who have received stem cell transplants. The main aim of the study is to check if the cytomegalovirus infection can no longer be detected after treatment with marivabir or valganciclovir. Participants will take 2 tablets of marivabir or valganciclovir and 2 tablets of placebo twice a day for 8 weeks. A placebo will look like marivabir or valganciclovir but will not have any medicine in it. After treatment, each participant will be followed up for up to 12 weeks. Participants will visit their study clinic up to 18 times during the study.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of LCZ696 titrated to a target dose of 200 mg twice daily, compared to ramipril titrated to a target dose of 5 mg twice daily.
This study evaluates the effectiveness of topical NAVS naphthalan in the treatment of oral lichen planus (OLP) and recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAS). Half of participants with OLP and RAS will receive topical NAVS naphthalan in adhesive paste, while the other half will receive 0.05%-betamethasone dipropionate in adhesive paste. Our hypothesis is that NAVS could be efficient in the treatment of OLP and RAS, with effects comparable to that of topical steroids.
