NCT ID: NCT02325791 Completed - Clinical trials for Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infections

Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Suptavumab (REGN2222) for the Prevention of Medically Attended RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) Infection in Preterm Infants

Start date: July 21, 2015
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), and immunogenicity of suptavumab (REGN2222) in infants born no more than 35 weeks, 6 days gestational age who are no more than 6 months of age at the time of enrollment in their respective geographic location. In order to optimize the potential benefit in this vulnerable population, we conducted this study during the RSV season using dosing regimens that are expected to be effective.

Scandinavian Urethroplasty Study

SUPS
Start date: September 2015
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

A multicentre, prospective, randomized study comparing bulbar urethroplasty with excision and primary anastomosis or with an onlay grafting procedure using buccal mucosa.

NCT ID: NCT02320084 Completed - Clinical trials for Hereditary Tyrosinemia, Type I

Long Term Safety Study of Orfadin Treatment in HT-1 Patients in Standard Clinical Care

OPAL
Start date: September 2013
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The purpose of this study is to look at the long term safety profile of Orfadin treatment in patients suffering from hereditary tyrosinemia type 1 (HT-1). Patients included in the study will use Orfadin according to normal clinical practice.

NCT ID: NCT02319239 Completed - Prostate Neoplasms Clinical Trials

Prostate Cancer Stereotactic Radiotherapy

ESKO
Start date: May 2014
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Primary purpose of the study is to develop a stereotactic radiation treatment (RT) to prostate cancer which minimizes treatment related toxicity. Movement of the prostate during a radiation therapy will be monitored by temporary implanted electromagnetic transmitter. This data will be used to define prostate marginals (PTV) for stereotactic treatment. Radiation toxicity to rectum will be reduced by using a rectum fixation during a treatment. Study group I (20 patients) will be treated 39 x 2 Gy and study group II (20 patients) with 20 x 3 Gy fractionation schedules. With the data collected from these groups treatment marginals to prostate will be defined and used to treat group III (40 patients) with 5 x 7.25 Gy. Second purpose of this study is to assess if Diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging could be used to evaluate radiation treatment response in intermediate prostate cancer. Androgen deprivation therapy is not allowed in this study.

Start date: September 2014
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to evaluate ORM-12741 concentrations in the blood after different study drug formulations

NCT ID: NCT02318069 Completed - Clinical trials for Tick-borne Encephalitis

New Study - Humoral Response to Tick-borne Encephalitis Vaccine in Elderly

Start date: January 2015
Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

The risk for tick borne encephalitis increases in Sweden. Together with an increased awareness of the possibility to acquire protection by vaccination, this has led to an increase in the number of doses of the vaccine distributed in Sweden each year - now being approximately 400.000. The first year, two doses with an interval of 1 month is recommended for the general population, followed by a third dose approximately one year later and an additional booster dose three years after the third. Preliminary results from a previous study showed a higher percentage protected (=titer at least 10) after 3 doses than after 2 doses (Rombo et al. EUDRA CT 2011 001348-31, unpublished information). In the same study, there were no differences between those who were vaccinated 0+7+21 compared to 0+30+90. The investigators were surprised to find marked differences between 2 and 3 doses also in the younger control group. The investigators therefore aim to confirm results in a new study and to add a group with a double dose at day 0 and then a single dose at day 30 and 360

NCT ID: NCT02315833 Completed - Migraine Clinical Trials

The Efficacy of L-cysteine in Prevention of Headache Attacks in Migraine Patients
