There are about 11256 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Egypt. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Ovarian cancer (OC) has one of the highest mortality rates for female malignant tumors, attributed to advanced cancer stages upon diagnosis as well as a high recurrence rate. Piwi-interacting RNA-823 (piR-823) is a single-stranded non-protein coding RNA (ncRNA) star molecule in epigenetics research. Extensive cellular regulatory functions and aberrant expression of piR-823 have been implicated in carcinogenesis. Therefore, the findings of piwi-ncRNA dysregulated-expression in OC Egyptian female patients' cohort could be employed as a potential novel mechanism for OC precision, a step toward ncRNA-precision
Being a mechanistic study, this work aims to figure out "the role of the cytoplasmic mRNA deadenylase CNOT7 expressed protein on NK cell resistance in metastatic BC". In other words, to explore, whether, "CNOT7 contributes to metastasis in Egyptian female metastatic BC patient's cohort, through NK cell resistance, or not."
Evaluate the impact of using 3D surgical template with guided bone regeneration technique on the contour of bone augmentation in patients with horizontal labial ridge defect and simultaneous implantation.
The aim of the study is to compare between Isolated Iliac vein stenting vs Concomitant Iliac vein stenting with pelvic vein embolization in patients with Pelvic Venous Insufficiency secondary to Nonthrombotic iliac vein lesions
The goal of this clinical trial is to to evaluate and compare the skeletal and dental changes of bone supported Fast Back and bone supported modified Leaf Spring Self-Activated Expander in bilateral distalization of maxillary molars using CBCT in Egyptian people. The main question it aims to answer are: • If bone supported Fast Back and bone supported modified Leaf Spring Self-Activated Expander will be effective in bilateral distalization of maxillary molars The patients will be selected according to the following criteria: 1. Patient with full permanent dentition. 2. Good oral hygiene. 3. None of the patients had received any orthodontic treatment. 4. Class II molar relationship. 5. Minimal or no crowding in the mandibular arch. 6. Non-extraction treatment plan with molar distalization. 7. Low angle cases. 8. No medical problems or active periodontal disease. Researchers will compare between bone supported Fast Back appliance and bone supported modified Leaf Spring Self-Activated and see if they will be effective in maxillary molars distalization.
Since post hemorrhoidectomy pain is a severe and common post operative symptom so there is a need to find a suitable method for reducing this pain, up to our knowledge, this the first study in ZUH to compare between ketrolac, light Marcaine, corticosteroids and diclofenac sodium injection at surgical site for relieve of post operative pain. This is a randomizes comparative prospective clinical trial.
The purposes of this study are: 1. To examine the combined effects of Yellow CPPNLT and conventional treatment on pain intensity, pain pressure threshold, functional disability, and muscle strength in athletic jumper knee. 2. To examine the combined effects of Green CPPNLT and conventional treatment on pain intensity, pain pressure threshold, functional disability, and muscle strength in athletic jumper knee. 3 3- To compare between the effects of Yellow CPPNLT and Green CPPNLT on pain intensity, pain pressure threshold, functional disability, and muscle strength in athletic jumper knee.
Badly decayed primary molars will be treated by performing the pulp therapy technique indicated, then the patients will be randomized into two groups to receive the restorative intervention. For the intervention group, teeth will be prepared to receive the digital crown after intraoral scanning while for the control group, teeth will be prepared to receive the prefabricated zirconia crowns. Teeth will be followed up clinically for 1 year, at 1, 6 and 12 months.
Despite the important role of axioscapular muscles electromyography and cervical posture as outcomes for the management of chronic neck non specific pain , there is gab of evidence that highlight their association to the commonly used neck disability index. The quest to improve outcomes for individuals suffering from chronic nonspecific neck pain is underscored by the need to identify key prognostic variables that can guide clinical decision-making and intervention strategies. This study seeks to bridge the gap in research by examining the association between neck disability index score, cervical sagittal curvature, and axioscapular muscles electromyography in forms of both trapezius and levator scapula root mean squares to indicate muscular activities and median frequencies to indicate muscular fatigue.
This study is designed as a pre and post experimental study. The purposes of this study are to evaluate the effect of core muscles training in patients with chronic mechanical low back pain according to SALIBA'S postural classification system (SPCS) in terms of pain intensity, function, and core muscles endurance.
