This is a phase II, double-blind, randomised, controlled, multicentre trial of topical HDIT101 versus placebo. HSV-1-positive patients with at least 6 orolabial herpes lesions in the last 12 months can be included. The patients need to present with 3 herpes lesions within a 9 months observation phase. With the occurrence of the third lesion, the patients will enter the 12 months treatment phase and will be randomized in a 2:1 ratio to topical HDIT or placebo applied over 2 days. A potential fourth lesion will also be treated with the blinded study medication and additional lesions will be documented. In a 12 months post-trial follow-up phase, further information on the occurence of lesions will be collected 4 times by phone. Study duration per patient will be up to 21 months plus 12 months post-trial follow-up by phone. Patients need to come for study visits up to 9 times.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy in participants with advanced/metastatic or recurrent malignancies who receive gebasaxturev (V937) in combination with pembrolizumab (MK-3475). The primary objective for Part 1 is to evaluate the objective response rate, and the primary objective for Part 2 is to determine the safety and tolerability of gebasaxturev administered in combination with pembrolizumab. With Amendment 4, this study will be terminated once all participants who have completed or discontinued gebasaxturev treatment and are only receiving pembrolizumab may be enrolled in a pembrolizumab extension study, if available, to continue pembrolizumab monotherapy for up to 35 cycles from first pembrolizumab dose on V937-013.
Prospective Observational Single Arm study aimed to assess safety and effectiveness of APERTO OTW DCB in treating stenosis and restenosis of central veins in dialysis patients
The purpose of the study is to investigate the mechanism of action for ligelizumab (QGE031) treatment in patients with chronic urticaria. The study has two parts. The study population will consist of approximately 68 male and female healthy volunteers and patients. In Part 1, approximately 20 healthy volunteers and patients with chornic urticaria will be enrolled. In Part 2 approximately 48 patients with chronic urticaria (spontaneous chronic urticaria, cholinergic urticaria or cold urticaria). Part 1 consists of a screening period up 2 weeks and a visit with skin tests; there is no treatment taken in Part 1. Part 2 is randomized, subject, investigator and sponsor blinded. It consists of a screening period up to 4 weeks, a 16 week treatment period and a 12-week follow-up period after last treatment. A follow-up call at Week 32 will be performed via telephone.
The aim of this study is to test Cenicriviroc (CVC) as a means to reduce the severity of the lung disease COVID-19 caused by an infection with SARS-CoV-2. The safety of CVC, when administered to COVID-19 patients, will also be assessed. Furthermore, the clinical trial aims to answer the question of whether patients with pre-existing conditions, who have an increased risk of severe COVID-19 progression, benefit more and particularly from CVC. CVC is an orally available dual inhibitor of the chemokine receptors CCR2 and CCR5, which is expected to reduce (hyper-) inflammation in COVID-19. The main goal of the study is to determine whether CVC helps increase the number of patients who are symptom-free and not hospitalized after 14 days compared to a placebo. Approximately 66.7% of the patients enrolled in the study will receive CVC and 33.3% will get an optically identical pill (placebo). Subjects will be assessed daily while hospitalized. Discharged patients will be asked to attend study visits at Days 8, 15, 22, and 29 and 85. All subjects will undergo a series of clinical, safety, and laboratory assessments. Blood samples and oropharyngeal (OP) swabs will be obtained on Day 1; 3, 5 (while hospitalized); and Day 8, 15 and 29 (if able to return to clinic or still hospitalized). The presence of anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies will be determined on Days 29 and 85.

This trial is a phase I study in patients with metastatic non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) after failure of second line therapy aiming to evaluate safety and efficacy of CC-1, a bispecific antibody (bsAb) with PSMAxCD3 specificity developed within DKTK. CC-1 binds to human prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) on tumor cells of squamous cell carcinoma of the lung (SCC) as well as to tumor vessels of SCC, thereby allowing for a dual mode of anti-cancer action. CC-1 was developed in a novel format which not only prolongs serum half-life but most importantly reduces off-target T cell activation with expected fewer side effects. Together with preemptive IL-6 receptor (IL-6R) blockade using tocilizumab, this allows for application of effective bsAb doses with expected high anticancer activity. The study comprises two phases: The first phase is a dose-escalation phase with concomitant prophylactic application of tocilizumab to evaluate the maximally tolerated dose (MTD) of CC-1. This is followed by a dose-expansion phase (also with prophylactic IL-6R blockade using tocilizumab). A translational research program comprising, among others, analysis of CC-1 half-life and the induced immune response as well as molecular profiling in liquid biopsies will serve to better define the mode of action of CC-1 and to identify biomarkers for further clinical development.
Clinical study designed to collect blood for research purposes in patients after hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) or in patients with a medical condition where the blood cells production is impaired. The blood samples will be used to study the role of Interferon gamma (IFNɣ) in graft failure or impairment of hematopoietic stem cell proliferation. The IFNɣ signature will be assessed by measuring primarily IFNɣ and C-X-C Motif Chemokine Ligand 9 (CXCL9).
