There are about 36818 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in China. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This prospective observational cohort study aims to learn about temporal changes in the gut microbiota before and after migrating to high altitudes in healthy participants. The main questions it aims to answer are: - changes in the gut microbiome before and after migrating to high altitude. - Do the migrants tend to share similar gut microbiota characteristics with the residents? Participants will detect 16S ribosomal RNA profiles from stool samples. Researchers will compare the residents with the migrants to see if gut microbiota characteristics are similar.
The goal of this China extension study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of pembrolizumab plus belzutifan plus lenvatinib or pembrolizumab/quavonlimab plus lenvatinib versus pembrolizumab plus lenvatinib as first-line treatment in Chinese participants with advanced clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). The primary hypotheses are (1) pembrolizumab plus belzutifan plus lenvatinib is superior to pembrolizumab plus lenvatinib with respect to progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS), in advanced ccRCC participants; and (2) pembrolizumab/quavonlimab plus lenvatinib is superior to pembrolizumab plus lenvatinib with respect to PFS and OS, in advanced ccRCC participants.
In this study, patients with aged-related hearing loss with depression and without depression were evaluated by audiometry (pure tone audiometry and speech audiometry), cognitive function assessment (MMSE scale for simple mental state test, MoCA Scale for Montreal Cognitive Assessment), and depressive symptoms assessment (GDS-15 and HAMD), resting state EEG. The ananlysis of resting state EEG included power spectral density, traceability analysis, functional connectivity, microstate, clustering coefficient, characteristic path length, characteristic path permeability, and compatibility coefficient. EEG signals were used to explore the activation of brain regions and poor connectivity of brain regions affected by cognitive reserve dissonance on the level of brain imaging. This paper innovatively explores the influence of cognitive reserve dissonance on depressive mood in senile deafness by means of audiological assessment, cognitive function assessment, depression symptom assessment, resting state electroencephalography (EEG) and other technical means. Auditory and cognitive cortical activation, functional connectivity of brain regions, small-world attributes and microstates were analyzed in senile deafness with or without depression at the brain imaging level.
Falls are a common geriatric syndrome that impedes healthy aging and are the primary cause of accidental death in older adults. Globally, more than 50% of older adults experience falls in nursing homes each year. Intrinsic capacity (IC) is a quantifiable measure of healthy aging, and consists of five dimensions: cognitive, locomotor, vitality, sensory (vision and hearing), and psychological capacity. Decline in IC is an independent factor in the occurrence of falls in older adults. A related theoretical framework indicates that healthy behaviors are the key to enhance IC. The health action process approach (HAPA) has been shown to have positive effects on health behavior promotion. Therefore, the aim of this study is to examine the effect of multidimensional fall management based on HAPA on fall risk, fall efficacy, and healthy aging among older adults with declines in IC in Chinese nursing homes.
The study is being conducted to evaluate the efficacy, and safety of SHR-1905 injection in subjects with chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP), as well as to explore the reasonable dosage of SHR-1905 injection for CRSwNP.
Investigate the long-term(52 weeks) safety and efficacy of HSK16149 capsules in Chinese patients with periphcral neuralgia
The goal of this observational study is to explore the role of prediction of microvascular invasion by radiomics based on pre-treatment magnetic resonance imaging for guiding treatment of Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer stage B hepatocellular carcinoma.
This observational study aims to identify the determinants or predictors of postoperative atrial fibrillation (POAF) in patients who have undergone coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG). The study will compare two cohorts: patients who developed POAF and those who did not (non-POAF), with the aim of improving postoperative care, reducing complications, and refining patient risk stratification.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of inclisiran as a monotherapy in Chinese adults with low or moderate atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) risk and elevated low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) who are not on any lipid lowering therapy.
This is a Phase 3b, single-arm, open-label, multicenter study to evaluate the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), and immunogenicity of eculizumab in adult participants with paraxysmal noturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) in China.
