Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) affects 1 percent of the population worldwide and up to 40 percent of patients don't respond to current treatments. MBS2320, the drug being tested in this trial, represents a new approach to treating RA, with the potential not only to reduce levels of inflammation but to also directly prevent bone damage. The aim of this project is to test the safety, tolerability and efficacy of MBS2320 in patients with RA in combination with an existing treatment, methotrexate. Approximately 224 participants with moderate to severe active RA who have not responded to treatment with Methotrexate will be enrolled from around 45 to 55 sites around the world. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive 1 of 3 doses of MBS2320 (5 mg, 20 mg, or 40 mg) or placebo (a "dummy" drug). The maximum duration of study participation for a participant will be 22 weeks, which consists of a Screening Period of up to 4 weeks, Treatment Period of 12 weeks, and a Follow-up Period of 6 weeks. Participants on the study will be asked to attend the hospital or clinic for regular visits during which they will have planned study assessments to evaluate the effectiveness, tolerability and safety of the study drug.
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety and tolerability of zilovertamab vedotin as monotherapy and in combination in participants with select B-cell lymphomas including mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), Richter's transformation lymphoma (RTL), follicular lymphoma (FL), and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). This study will also evaluate zilovertamab vedotin as monotherapy and in combination with respect to objective response rate. - Cohort A: Participants with relapsed or refractory MCL relapsed or refractory disease after at least 2 prior systemic therapies including a Bruton's tyrosine kinase inhibition/inhibitor (BTKi), and post therapy chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cell therapy or ineligible for CAR-T cell therapy - Cohort B: Participants with relapsed or refractory RT disease after at least 1 prior systemic therapy - Cohort C: Participants with relapsed or refractory MCL relapsed or refractory disease after at least 1 prior systemic therapy and no prior exposure to a non-covalent BTKi - Cohort D: Participants with relapsed or refractory FL and CLL relapsed or refractory disease after at least 2 prior systemic therapies and have no other available therapy - Cohort E: Participants with relapsed or refractory FL after at least 2 prior systemic therapies and have no other available therapy - Cohort F: Participants with relapsed or refractory CLL after at least 2 prior systemic therapies and have no other available therapy The primary study hypothesis is that zilovertamab vedotin monotherapy has an increased Objective Response Rate (ORR) per Lugano Response Criteria as assessed by blinded independent central review (BICR).
Considering that Parkinson's Disease (PD) can significantly compromise functional mobility and cardiovascular system in patients with PD, therapies aimed at improving these aspects, mainly by non-pharmacological and non-invasive methods, are paramount. This clinical trial will study the acute effects of plantar stimulation using a therapy called automated peripheral mechanical stimulation (AMPS) on cardiovascular and functional mobility in patients with PD. The hypothesis of this study is that one single session will be effective in improving, acutely, the cardiovascular system and functional capacity in patients with PD.
Promotion of MedDiet adherence and psychological well-being in Chile offers a great potential to confront our ongoing epidemiological transition to increased risk factors and non-communicable chronic diseases. The main aims of this clinical trial are to design, implement, and evaluate the impact of a MedDiet- and psychological well-being-based intervention on reversal rate of MetS -compared to a control low fat diet- in Chilean adult population.
The primary objective is to evaluate in participants with high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC), whether the reduction from baseline in circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) at Cycle 3 (ΔctDNA) is larger in participants receiving MK-4830 + pembrolizumab in combination with standard of care (SOC) therapy than in those receiving pembrolizumab + SOC therapy.
Postoperative analgesia after shoulder surgery remains a challenge in patients with preexisting pulmonary pathology, as interscalene brachial plexus block (ISB), the standard nerve block for shoulder surgery, carries a prohibitive risk of hemidiaphragmatic paralysis (HDP). Although several diaphragm-sparing nerve blocks have been proposed, none seems to offer equivalent analgesia to ISB while avoiding HDP altogether. For instance, even costoclavicular blocks, which initially fulfilled both requirements, were subsequently found to result in a non-negligible 5%-incidence of HDP. In this randomized trial, the authors set out to compare ISB and combined infraclavicular block-anterior suprascapular nerve blocks (ICB-ASSNB) for patients undergoing arthroscopic shoulder surgery. The authors hypothesized that ICB-ASSNB would provide equivalent postoperative analgesia to ISB 30 minutes after shoulder surgery and therefore designed the current study as an equivalence trial.
This is a phase 3, multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind study of treatment with brepocitinib (TYK2/JAK1 inhibitor) in adults with dermatomyositis (DM). The primary objective of this study is to assess the efficacy of two dose levels of brepocitinib in comparison to placebo, as measured by differences in the Total Improvement Score (TIS). After 52 weeks of double-blind treatment, participants have the option to continue therapy in a 52 week open-label extension phase where all participants will receive brepocitinib.

(Sinovac-QIV) as compared to a licensed comparator in Chile and Philippines, Vaxigrip Tetra™ (Vaxigrip Tetra-QIV) in individuals aged 3 years and older.
