There are about 10460 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in Australia. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The main objective of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of SRP-4045 (casimersen) and SRP-4053 (golodirsen) compared to placebo in participants with DMD with out-of-frame deletion mutations amenable to skipping exon 45 and exon 53, respectively.
The purpose of this study is to determine if the addition of apalutamide to ADT provides superior efficacy in improving radiographic progression-free survival (rPFS) or overall survival (OS) for participants with mHSPC.
This is a Phase III, global, multicenter, open-label, randomized study to compare the efficacy and safety of 16 cycles (1 cycle duration=21 days) of atezolizumab (MPDL3280A) treatment compared with best supportive care (BSC) in participants with Stage IB-Stage IIIA non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) following resection and adjuvant chemotherapy, as measured by disease-free survival (DFS) as assessed by the investigator and overall survival (OS). Participants, after completing up to 4 cycles of adjuvant cisplatin-based chemotherapy, will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to receive atezolizumab for 16 cycles or BSC.
The purpose of this study is to show that Nivolumab, or Nivolumab plus Ipilimumab, or Nivolumab plus Platinum-Doublet Chemotherapy improves progression free survival and/or overall survival compared with chemotherapy in patients with advanced lung cancer.
This study is designed to evaluate progression-free survival (PFS) endpoint for acalabrutinib versus (vs) ibrutinib in previously treated chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
This Primary objective is evaluating the efficacy of obinutuzumab in combination with chlorambucil (Arm A) compared with acalabrutinib in combination with obinutuzumab (Arm B) for the treatment of previously untreated chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Secondary objectives: 1) To evaluate the efficacy of obinutuzumab in combination with chlorambucil (Arm A) versus acalabrutinib monotherapy (Arm C) based on IRC assessment of PFS per IWCLL 2008 criteria. 2)To compare obinutuzumab plus chlorambucil (Arm A) versus acalabrutinib plus obinutuzumab (Arm B) and obinutuzumab plus chlorambucil (Arm A) versus acalabrutinib monotherapy (Arm C) in terms of: IRC-assessed objective response rate (ORR); Tine to next treatment (TTNT); Overall Survival (OS)
This research will test the combination of two new drugs, called ibrutinib and ABT199, taken together in the treatment of Mantle Cell Lymphoma. Other studies have indicated the potential for these drugs to be used in the treatment of participants with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. In this study, the investigators will test the combination of the two drugs together, in order to determine what effects (good and bad) it has on mantle cell lymphoma. This study has two phases. The first phase is the Primary Evaluation Phase and will closely monitor the effects of ibrutinib and ABT199 for a period of 13 months. Participants who complete 13 months of treatment and continue benefiting from the study treatments will be allowed to continue both drugs until progression or intolerance in the Continuation Phase. The purpose of this phase is to provide patients with continuing access to both ibrutinib and ABT199. Patients will receive routine care from clinician, who will record any sideeffects that may be experienced. This is one of the first trials in the world to study the combination of ibrutinib and ABT199 together. Therefore the effectiveness of the combination of the study drugs will be assessed, as will how they affect mantle cell lymphoma and how it develops resistance to the treatments. The investigators also do not know whether combining the two drugs together will cause unexpected side effects. Therefore, the study will monitor patients closely and perform scans, blood tests, bone marrow biopsies and other tests at regular intervals.
The purpose of this study is to characterize the efficacy of ponatinib administered in 3 starting doses (45 mg, 30 mg, and 15 mg daily) in participants with CP-CML who are resistant to prior tyrosine-kinase inhibitor (TKI) therapy or have T315I mutation, as measured by <=1 % Breakpoint Cluster Region-Abelson Transcript Level using International Scale (BCR-ABL1IS) at 12 months.
This is a randomized, open-label, multi-center, global, Phase III study to determine the efficacy and safety of MEDI4736 + tremelimumab combination therapy and MEDI4736 monotherapy versus platinum-based SoC chemotherapy in the first-line treatment of patients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) wild-type locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC
This study will evaluate the safety of an investigational cell transplantation therapy, ISC-hpNSC, in patients with Parkinson's disease. All patients will receive the therapy, which consists of human neural stem cells. Three dose levels will be examined in the study.
