NCT ID: NCT05018325 Terminated - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Assessing Effect of Withdrawal Time on Adenoma Detection Rate for Screening Colonoscopy

Start date: August 30, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The investigators' null hypothesis is that a withdrawal time of 9 to 10 minutes is non-inferior to a withdrawal time of 12 minutes or greater. Thus, the goal of this tandem design trial is to compare the additional diagnostic yield (# of missed lesions) for withdrawal times exceeding 10 minutes for screening/surveillance colonoscopies. Although withdrawal times longer than the standard 6-minute recommendation have been shown to be beneficial, there is limited prospective evidence investigating the benefit or lack thereof for withdrawal times greater than 9-10 minutes.

NCT ID: NCT05018156 Completed - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Default Genetics Referrals for Young-Onset Colorectal Cancer

Start date: November 10, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The investigators will perform a pilot implementation study of a default genetics referral process among patients with young-onset CRC diagnosed between ages 40 and 49.

NCT ID: NCT05015296 Not yet recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

The Impact of Immune Cell Changes During the Perioperative Period on the Prognosis of Patients With Colorectal Cancer

Start date: September 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This is a multi-center, prospective, non-interventional real-world study. In a real-world environment, in line with the current status of the domestic diagnosis and treatment process, and on the premise of not increasing the burden of patients and medical resources, we explore the best indicators for predicting the outcome of patients with Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) after surgery. The inclusion criteria for patients are perioperative patients with CRC. Real-world data analysis were conducted to determine whether immunization interventions versus non-interventions were able to improve patients' clinical outcomes (OS, PFS).

NCT ID: NCT05012007 Completed - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Reminder Modality for CRC Screening

Start date: August 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a randomized controlled trial that will evaluate the effectiveness of different reminder modalities for a population-based mailed FIT program at the VA Puget Sound among average risk Veterans who are due for annual colorectal cancer (CRC) screening.

NCT ID: NCT05010850 Terminated - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

SafeHeal Colovac Colorectal Anastomosis Protection Device Evaluation (SAFE-2) Pivotal Study

SAFE-2
Start date: January 17, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

A randomized trial to assess the safety and effectiveness of the Colovac in providing temporary protection of the anastomosis in subjects undergoing lower anterior resection for colorectal cancer.

NCT ID: NCT05008809 Recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Post-resection/Ablation Chemotherapy in Patients With Metastatic Colorectal Cancer (FIRE-9 - PORT / AIO-KRK-0418)

Start date: December 6, 2021
Phase: Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is an open-label, randomized, controlled, multicenter, phase III study with two parallel arms. Patients with metastatic colorectal cancer after definite interventional therapy of all lesions are randomized in a 2:1 fashion (favoring active therapy) to investigate the efficacy, patient reported quality of life and safety of mFOLFOXIRI/mFOLFOX-6 as additive treatment (Arm A) versus active follow-up/surveillance (Arm B).

NCT ID: NCT05005117 Recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Laparoscopic Approach for Emergency Colon Resection

Start date: September 17, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This is a randomized, controlled, parallel, multicenter trial to compare post-operative complications and long-term results between open and laparoscopic technique in emergency colorectal surgery.

NCT ID: NCT05004376 Completed - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Text-based Colorectal Cancer Prevention Pilot

Start date: January 3, 2022
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

In this project, we intend to conduct a randomized pilot trial of a structured behavioral intervention, grounded in the Theory of Planned Behavior and Self-Determination Theory, to promote adherence of patients aged 45 - 75 to USPSTF colorectal cancer screening recommendations. We will also collect qualitative feedback on perceptions of the intervention to inform its refinement.

NCT ID: NCT05002855 Completed - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Effect of Implementation of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery on 3-year Survival After Colorectal Surgery for Cancer

RACCOR
Start date: January 20, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Several recent studies have shown that the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol reduces morbidity and mortality and shortens the length of stay compared to conventional recovery strategy (pre-ERAS). The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of the implementation of this protocol on 3-year overall survival and postoperative outcome in patients undergoing colorectal resection for cancer.

NCT ID: NCT04999761 Recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Start date: June 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This is a phase 1, non-randomized open-label, multicenter platform study designed to evaluate the tolerability and safety of AB122 in patients with malignancies specified in each cohort.
