NCT ID: NCT04911530 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Perioperative/Postoperative Complications

Perioperative Database of Chinese Elderly Patients

PDCEP
Start date: April 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The investigators aim to establish a prospective database of perioperative elderly patients from multiple regions and centers. Collected data involves postoperative complications of the central nervous system, cardiovascular system, kidney, respiratory system, infection, pain, and other perioperative complications. Based on the database, the investigators intend to explore: - The incidence and risk factors of perioperative morbidity and mortality in elderly patients; - Perioperative risk assessment methods and early warning models for elderly patients; - Practical, safe, and effective risk prevention and control system through subsequent studies.

NCT ID: NCT04962841 Recruiting - Frailty Clinical Trials

Nutraceuticals and Drug Treatment in Frail Older Adults

Start date: April 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Frailty is a multidimensional condition due to reserve loss leading to physical and cognitive impairment that is very common in older adults; in fact, its incidence increases with age. Frail older adults present a high risk of adverse events such as disability, hospitalization and mortality. It is very important to check comorbidities and complications to reduce the incidence of cognitive and physical impairment.

NCT ID: NCT04970264 Recruiting - Breast Cancer Clinical Trials

A Multicenter, Open and Observational Real World Study on the Prognosis and Treatment in Young Women With Breast Cancer

Start date: April 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

This is a multicenter, open and observational real world study. The main purpose of this study is to map the genomic variation map of young breast cancer patients in China, and to analyze the relationship between gene mutation and therapeutic effect of young breast cancer patients. The secondary purpose was to analyze the relationship between gene mutation and prognosis of young breast cancer patients. We expect to enroll 2000 young breast cancer patients (≤35 years old). All patients were detected by targeted next generation sequencing (NGS)(600+ gene panel). Clinical diagnosis, treatment and prognosis information were collected. The Stratification factors mainly include stage, molecular type and treatment method.

NCT ID: NCT04988789 Recruiting - Kidney Failure Clinical Trials

Evaluation of Paclitaxel Coated Balloon in the Treatment of Dialysis Access Dysfunction

Start date: April 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

Recent studies of paclitaxel DCB in the treatment of stenosis at dialysis vascular access have shown promising results. Paclitaxel, an anti-proliferation drug, is released during balloon inflation and potentially improve primary patency by slowing down NIH effect. However, meta-analysis have suggested that the use of paclitaxel in lower limbs have increased risk of death in patients. The effect of paclitaxel DCB on dialysis access however remains unknown. Hence, we aim to set up a database to track long-term treatment outcomes of patients treated with Paclitaxel DCB at SGH for their stenosed dialysis access

NCT ID: NCT05009186 Recruiting - Covid19 Clinical Trials

Changing of Prostate Specific Antigen Value in Patients With Covid-19

Start date: April 1, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) caused a worldwide pandemic in over 100 years. The disease caused by this newly discovered virus was called Covid-19. In this study, we aimed to evaluate changing of PSA value in patients with Covid-19.

NCT ID: NCT05026346 Recruiting - Rotator Cuff Tears Clinical Trials

Construction of an AI System for the Automatic Supervision of Shoulder's Rehabilitation Exercises (Rehab-SPIA)

Rehab-SPIA
Start date: April 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The current historical phase and the growing need for rehabilitation in the world make tele-rehabilitation systems, and e-Health in general, fundamental tools for increasing patient engagement and compliance with care, crucial elements for the preservation of the NHS from a perspective expenditure review and resource optimization. In particular, the rehabilitation patient has on average an adherence to the Home Exercise Program (HEP) between 30-50%, to which is frequently added a reduced effectiveness of motor learning due to the lack of feedback on the accuracy of the gesture, as is the case. it happens in the hospital or outpatient setting under the supervision of a therapist. The new computational approaches for the analysis of data on human movement, aimed at the development of algorithms to automatically supervise the accuracy of the patient's gesture during home self-treatment exercise such as those based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), especially those of the latest generation, called sub-symbolics (or connectionists) can help. Among the most promising approaches are. Given the importance of the Home Exercise Program in shoulder disease, it was decided to select a population of patients affected by the main pathologies affecting this joint. The main objective of the study is to create and validate a software tool for the automatic and expert analysis of the correct execution of the main rehabilitation exercises for the functional recovery of the shoulder following orthopedic pathologies.

NCT ID: NCT05066646 Recruiting - Multiple Myeloma Clinical Trials

A Phase 1/2 Study of a Fully Human BCMA-targeting CAR (CT103A) in Patients With Relapsed/Refractory Multiple Myeloma (FUMANBA-1)

FUMANBA-1
Start date: April 1, 2020
Phase: Phase 1/Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study is a single-armed, open-label, multicenter Phase 1/2 study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of CT103A in subjects with relapsed and refractory MM.

NCT ID: NCT05068375 Recruiting - COVID-19 Clinical Trials

Unleash the Mystery of COVID-19 Related Unusual Thrombosis

Start date: April 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Arterial thrombosis and unusual patterns of thrombotic events in young adults patients with COVID-19 are yet rarely described in this setting and could be underestimated. There is a real need for studies to describe the frequency of unusual thrombotic complications.
