There are more than 498,563 clinical trials published worldwide with over 60,000 trials that are currently either recruiting or not yet recruiting. Use our filters on this page to find more information on current clinical trials or past clinical trials (free or paid) for study purposes and read about their results.
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the feasibility and the maternal, fetal and postnatal outcomes of sacral myelomeningocele (MMC) and Myelic Limited Dorsal Myeloschisis (MyeLDM) fetoscopic repair at Trousseau Hospital (Paris, France).
The aim of this study, original named "The musculoskeletal pain intensity and interference questionnaire (MPIIQM)" is the Turkish validation, reliability and cross-cultural validation of the questionnaire.
This effectiveness trial will investigate if patients with hip dysplasia randomised to exercise and patient education have a different mean change in self-reported pain measured by the Copenhagen Hip and Groin Outcome Score (HAGOS) compared with those randomised to usual care over a six-month follow-up period. Participating patients will be allocated to either exercise and patient education or usual care. Alongside this, a health-economic study and a process-evaluation study will be conducted.
Pregnancy is a complex and coordinated physiological process. Pregnancy and the postpartum period are associated with unique changes in the immune system that may impact the natural history of autoimmune diseases and immune-mediated infections. In the postpartum period. ALT flares have been reported in 20%-60% of untreated women and were more likely to occur in hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg)-positive patients. It has been postulated that postpartum ALT flares may arise to rapid immune restitution against hepatitis B virus (HBV) antigens in the liver, when may be a timing of antiviral treatment. A large number of previous studies have focused on studies on the interruption of mother-to-child transmission in women with chronic hepatitis B(CHB), but studies on the prognosis of mothers undergoing pregnancy and delivery are very limited. What are the factors that affect the clearance of HBeAg or HBsAg? What kind of antiviral treatment protocol should be adopted for mothers with CHB? It is not only a problem that needs to be solved urgently in clinical practice, but also can provide some clues for understanding the occurrence and development of HBV infection in women of childbearing age. Overall, this study intends to carry out a multi-center two-way cohort study on E antigen-positive CHB women in 9 hospitals in Shaanxi Province. To observe the dynamic changes of virological parameters in these patients, figure out the factors of the serum HBsAg loss and HBeAg seroconversion, and establish relevant predictive models.
The investigators will see if the drug teriflunomide (which is in use in other immune disorder (multiple sclerosis)) can inhibit the immune activation in celiac disease patients during a 3 day gluten challenge. This will be measured in a blood sample.
Patients with lung cancer are often treated with high dose x-ray treatment (radical radiotherapy) to control the disease. After one course of radiotherapy, after a period of time, there is a risk that the cancer can come back in either the same place or nearby in the lungs. This happens to about 700 patients in the UK every year. There is no strong evidence to suggest what the best treatment is in this situation. One possible treatment is a second course of radiotherapy (re-irradiation). Early studies show that a re-irradiation may cause significant side effects like breathlessness or problems swallowing, but may control the cancer for a long period of time. We want to do a clinical trial to investigate if re-irradiation improves cancer control compared to other treatments to help guide treatment for patients with recurrent disease. Before we can go ahead with the trial, we would like to talk to patients who are have completed radiotherapy to find out what are their feelings about having a second course of radiotherapy if needed, and how the side effects from the initial course of radiotherapy or the projected side-effects from the second course would affect that decision. This information is vitally important to help develop a trial about re-irradiation in lung cancer as it will demonstrate if patients would accept a second course of radiotherapy, and, by accounting for patient concerns in the trial design, will make it more likely to recruit well. This study will perform telephone interviews with patients five weeks after completing a course of radical radiotherapy for lung cancer at the Beatson Cancer Centre. We expect to interview 16-30 patients. This study will run over the course of 1 year. This research is funded by the Beatson Cancer Charity and The University of Glasgow.

The participants will receive first Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing treatments in order to observe the impact on symptoms of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, somatization, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, anxiety, aggressiveness and dissociate symptoms.
This study aims to explore the effect of Ivabradine on Levcromakalim-induced migraine in individuals with migraine without aura.
The aim of this study is to determine the clinical spectrum and natural progression of Syringomyelia (SM) and related disorders in a prospective single center study, identify digital, imaging and molecular biomarkers that can assist in diagnosis and therapy development and study the etiology and molecular mechanisms of these diseases.
In this study, patients with advanced gastric adenocarcinoma whose peritoneal metastasis and peritoneal nodule pathologically confirmed metastasis and/or exfoliative cytology were confirmed as the clinical stage of peritoneal metastasis, who had not received treatment before, were invited to participate in the study. To evaluate the surgical conversion rate and tumor regression grade (TRG grade) of patients with stage gastric cancer with peritoneal metastasis using docetaxel, oxaliplatin, fluorouracil (FLOT regimen) combined with teriprizumab (PD-1).
