NCT ID: NCT05763901 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Scoliosis Idiopathic

IMU-based Assessment of Motor Control in a Population of Young Subjects With Paramorphisms and Dysmorphisms

MOTOR-CHILD
Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

While various complex pathologies of the developmental age, such as Infantile Cerebral Palsy or Neuromuscular Diseases, are notoriously considered causes of alteration of locomotor development, it is scarcely known whether conditions much more frequent in the pediatric population, the so-called "Paramorphisms or Dysmorphisms", may be associated with more or less noticeable changes in locomotor development. On a few studies, flat feet and hyperlaxity has been correlated with a motor control delay or poorer motor performance, based on complex clinical tests or on stereophotogrammetry movement analysis. Although promising, these preliminary studies, in addition to not providing information on the possible influence of other paramorphisms, such as varus and valgus of the knees, do not provide conclusive indications. The aim of this study is to investigate, through clinical tests and wearable inertial units, the motor control of a pediatric population affected by Paramorphisms or Dysmorphisms and to compare them with a population of healthy controls, matched by age, taken from the recently developed control data set from Bisi and Stagni.

NCT ID: NCT05771662 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Intracerebral Hemorrhage

Multimodal Brain Monitoring as a Prognostic Tool for Intracerebral Hemorrhage

Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational [Patient Registry]

To verify if there is an association between advanced multimodal brain monitoring parameters in the first 48h and fist 7 days of admission with intrahospital and six-months functional outcome, even when controlled to other factors that may influence the outcome. Secondary Goals: To describe multimodal neuromonitoring parameters variation in the first seven days of ICH and identify any trends.

NCT ID: NCT05844371 Recruiting - Gastric Cancer Clinical Trials

Efficacy and Safety of Tirelizumab Plus Chemotherapy Versus Chemotherapy Alone in Patients With Lymph Node Positive Gastric Cancer After Surgery

Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

Lymph node positive patients after D2 radical surgery for gastric cancer, who started to be treated at Yixing people's Hospital in April 2021, were selected and enrolled into the study group according to the patients' wishes: immune (tirelizumab) combined with chemotherapy (XELOX regimen) or control group: chemotherapy alone (XELOX regimen). Each enrolled patient signed an informed consent form approved by the ethics committee, signed, and dated. Efficacy and adverse effects were assessed in both groups.

NCT ID: NCT05866978 Recruiting - Mental Health Issue Clinical Trials

An Integrated Approach to Health, Wellbeing, and Productivity at Work

ITASPA
Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of the workplace intervention study 'An Integrated Approach to Health, Wellbeing, and Productivity at Work (ITASPA)' is to examine the effect of the Australian WorkHealth Improvement Network (WIN) program in a Danish context among blue-collar workers. The project is evaluated via its effect on: 1) Musculoskeletal disorders (MSD), 2) Functionality, 3) Psychosocial wellbeing, and 4) Safety culture. Based on identified work health challenges at the included workplace, a group of employees at each worksite will develop and implement their own health promoting activities. Remaining employees will participate in one screening questionnaire prior to the intervention followed by five health checks and interview based questionnaires. All intervention activities and health checks take place at the participants' workplace during paid working hours. In our study design, participants will be compared to themselves and their previous measurements. Furthermore, we will compare the worksites.

NCT ID: NCT05902039 Recruiting - Cadasil Clinical Trials

MRI Study of Blood-brain Barrier Function in CADASIL

Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Diffusion prepared pseudo-continuous ASL (DP-pCASL) is a newly proposed MRI method to noninvasively measure the function of blood-brain barrier (BBB). The investigators aim to investigate whether the water exchange rate across the BBB, estimated with DP-pCASL, is changed in patients with CADASIL, and to analyze the association between BBB water exchange rate and MRI/clinical features in these patients.

NCT ID: NCT05975814 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Dental Implant Therapy

The Effect of Concave Healing Abutment on Soft Tissue Healing

Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The aim of this study is to document the relevance of the concave abutment to form more gingiva when compared to the straight abutment.

NCT ID: NCT06015802 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Neuroendocrine Tumors

Predictive Value of Serum and Tissue Molecular Markers and Imaging Features in the Invasiveness and Prognosis of Pituitary Neuroendocrine Tumors

Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

As the clinical manifestations of pituitary neuroendocrine tumors vary greatly, 2.7-15% of them are resistant to conventional treatments such as surgery, drug therapy and radiotherapy, and often relapse or regrow in the early postoperative period, which is invasive and has a poor prognosis. Therefore, it is important to find imaging, histological or serum molecular markers for early prediction of the invasiveness and clinical prognosis of pituitary neuroendocrine tumors. The aim of this study is to observe the changes of biomarkers and imaging features in serum or tissues of pituitary neuroendocrine tumors during the course of disease and treatment, and to explore the biomarkers and imaging features that can predict the proliferation, progression and recurrence risk of pituitary neuroendocrine tumors after medical or surgical treatment.

NCT ID: NCT06042530 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Cognitive Impairment

Cognitive Impairment and Fatigue After Mild to Moderate COVID-19

Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The primary aim of the project is to map fatigue, cognitive and visual dysfunctions and possible underlying pathophysiological mechanisms in persons with long-term symptoms after a mild to moderate COVID-19 infection. Secondary goals are to study whether covarying factors such as depression and sleep disorders contribute to the results.

NCT ID: NCT06110481 Recruiting - Clinical trials for Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia

Reversibility of Bronchial Obstruction in Children Born Preterm

Start date: April 1, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

This observational study aims to compare responses to different, commonly used inhaled bronchodilators in children born preterm with bronchial obstruction at spirometry. All children were diagnosed with Chronic Lung Disease of Immaturity (CLDI). The main questions are: - Is any inhaled bronchodilator or their combination generally superior in children with CLDI when assessing the reversibility of bronchial obstruction? - Is there an individual difference in the effect of betamimetic, anticholinergic or their combination between children with CLDI? Participants will: - Come to our clinic in a stable state without acute infection and they will be randomly assigned to the first inhaled bronchodilator. - They will then perform a spirometry test before and after the inhalation of the drug. - This visit will repeat 3 times, each with a different bronchodilator (beta2agonist, anticholinergic and their combination).
