H1-1: Acupressure applied to individuals diagnosed with ACS has an effect on the level of anxiety. H1-2: Acupressure applied to individuals diagnosed with ACS has an effect on blood pressure. H1-3: Acupressure applied to individuals diagnosed with ACS has an effect on heart rate. H1-4: Acupressure applied to individuals diagnosed with ACS has an effect on respiratory rate. H1-5: Acupressure applied to individuals diagnosed with ACS has an effect on the pain level. H1-6: Acupressure applied to individuals diagnosed with ACS has an effect on cortisol levels.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Fecal Microbiota Transplantation compared with placebo in the treatment of Irritable Bowel Syndrome With Diarrhea (IBS-D) and Mental Health Comorbidity in Young Adults.
The goal of this study is to determine the safety and tolerability of orally taken probiotic (R-2487) in patients with Sjogren's Syndrome. Patients will take an oral dosage of probiotic (R-2487) and physicians will assess and measure their Sjogren's Syndrome. Blood and fecal evaluations of inflammation and assessment of probiotic (R-2487) on fecal level will also be measured.
The goal of this randomized clinical trial is to study the effect of testosterone replacement therapy during puberty in boys with Klinefelter syndrome (KS, 47,XXY). The main questions to answer are how treatment with testosterone will affect body fat mass, lipid and glucose metabolism, growth and body proportions, bone mineralization as well as effects on neurocognitive development and emotional and social difficulties. Participants will be randomized to two years treatment with testosterone or placebo.
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) affects approximately 5% of the general population and remains a daily problem in the practice of clinicians with inconsistent effectiveness of treatments while patients' expectations are high. One of the functional abnormalities described during IBS is increased intestinal permeability. This increase in intestinal permeability is primarily present in the diarrheal subtype (IBS-D) and can be measured using the lactulose/mannitol test. Glutamine is a non-essential amino acid which regulates numerous metabolic pathways, and which plays a key role in the intestine because it is the preferential substrate of enterocytes and immune cells. Ex vivo, glutamine is able to restore the expression of tight junction proteins in patients suffering from IBS-D. On the other hand, glutamine supplementation is capable of reducing abdominal pain and restoring intestinal permeability disorders in a subgroup of patients with intestinal permeability disorder (post-infectious IBS-D). Our working hypothesis would be that all patients suffering from IBS with permeability disorder, measured by the lactulose/mannitol test, could benefit from oral glutamine supplementation.
This phase I trial tests the safety, side effects, best dose, and effectiveness of 225Ac-DOTA-Anti-CD38 daratumumab monoclonal antibody in combination with fludarabine, melphalan and total marrow and lymphoid irradiation (TMLI) as conditioning treatment for donor stem cell transplant in patients with high-risk acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). Daratumumab is in a class of medications called monoclonal antibodies. It binds to a protein called CD38, which is found on some types of immune cells and cancer cells. Daratumumab may block CD38 and help the immune system kill cancer cells. Radioimmunotherapy is treatment with a radioactive substance that is linked to a monoclonal antibody, such as daratumumab, that will find and attach to cancer cells. Radiation given off by the radioisotope my help kill the cancer cells. Chemotherapy drugs, such as fludarabine and melphalan, work in different ways to stop the growth of cancer cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Radiation therapy uses high energy x-rays, particles, or radioactive seeds to kill cancer cells and shrink tumors. TMLI is a targeted form of body radiation that targets marrow, lymph node chains, and the spleen. It is designed to reduce radiation-associated side effects and maximize therapy effect. Actinium Ac 225-DOTA-daratumumab combined with fludarabine, melphalan and TMLI may be safe, tolerable, and/or effective as conditioning treatment for donor stem cell transplant in patients with high-risk AML, ALL, and MDS.
The goal of Part 1 of this clinical research study is to find the highest tolerable dose of ASTX029 that can be given in combination with ASTX727 to participants who have RAS-mutant MDS or MDS/MPN. The goal of Part 2 of this clinical research study is to learn if the dose of ASTX029 found in Part 1 can help to control the disease when used in combination with ASTX727.
The RECLAIM study aims to gather a centralized and harmonized dataset, enabling the secondary use of data for building AI-based models that will support diagnosis and prognosis of individual Multiple Sclerosis patient's disease course and treatment response in a real-world setting. Additionally, the data will be used to generate further insights on Multiple Sclerosis progression as well as to develop the tools to monitor this progression.

Single-center, cross-sectional qualitative study seeking to collect the experience of adolescence and the transition to adulthood of people affected by Prader-Willi syndrome in a population. To do this, the present will carry out a qualitative study with a reflexive thematic analysis of the data collected through semi-structured interviews using an interview guide.
