The goal of this pilot study is to test key elements of the full study that will follow, including recruitment and retention strategies, intervention delivery, laboratory testing, data collection methods, and adherence to study protocol. The main questions the investigators aim to answer focus on implementation and practicality: - Recruitment feasibility and time to recruit - How well do participants adhere to device protocol? - How often do device components (i.e., actuators and drivers) have to be replaced? - How much time is required for data collection and what sources or methods for data collection are used? Results of this pilot study will inform the investigators as to necessary protocol modifications and overall feasibility for the larger randomized clinical trial to follow.

Peripheral artery disease (PAD), vascular disease of atheromatous origin, is a frequent pathology, with a steady and significant increase in prevalence over the last decades. It has various symptoms ranging from mild arterial claudication to critical limb ischemia. The critical ischaemia stage in PAD is defined by rest pain or trophic disorders and is a special situation because of the number of cardiovascular deaths at 1 year (25%), 60% at 5 years and acute ischaemic recurrence at 1 year (25%). It is a medico-surgical pathology. A haemodynamic marker is needed to monitor patients, as it is predictive of limb progression, cardiovascular events and mortality. The Systolic Rise Time (SRT) of the plantar footpad is a recently described haemodynamic measurement of proven value in the diagnosis of PAD. The aim of this study is to show the prognostic value of the Systolic Rise Time on Major Adverse Limb Events (MALE).

A Study to Assess Adverse Events, and How Intravenously (IV) Infused ABBV-969 Moves Through the Bodies of Adult Participants With Metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer

Prostate cancer has the second highest incidence rate and is the fifth leading cause of cancer-related deaths among men worldwide. The purpose of this study is to assess safety, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy of ABBV-969 as a monotherapy. ABBV-969 is an investigational drug being developed for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC). There are parts to this study. Participants will receive ABBV-969 as a single agent at different doses. Approximately 120 adult participants will be enrolled in the study across sites worldwide. In part 1 (dose escalation), ABBV-969 will be intravenously infused in escalating doses as a monotherapy. In part 2, multiple doses will be selected from Part 1 and mCRPC participants will be assigned to one of these doses in a randomized fashion to determine the recommended Phase 2 dose. The estimated duration of the study is up to 3 years. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic and may require frequent medical assessments, blood tests, and scans.

CMR Assessment of Cardiac Microvascular Dysfunction in Patients With HFpEF

Heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) causes hospitalizations, premature mortality and high health care costs. This is also due to poor understanding of HFpEF pathogenesis and, thus, lack of specific therapies. Prompted by the recent demonstration that HFpEF clusters different clinical phenotypes, the investigators propose that these phenogroups are driven by distinct myocardial abnormalities. Cardiac Magnetic Resonance (CMR) can help filling this gap in knowledge: on top of providing gold standard measurements for myocardial volume and cellular mass, recent technical advantages mean that this test can assess and quantify left ventricular extracellular volume, fibrosis and microvascular function accurately and non-invasively. In HFpEF patients, the investigators aim at assessing 1) the coronary microvascular function impairment; 2) the myocardial fibrotic burden; - seeking to understand the disease in order to improve care and cardiovascular outcomes for these patients.
