There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
Given the current public health crisis the use of telehealth consultation visits including phone-only and video visits has exponentially increased. This study will investigate if the conduct of telehealth phone only visits is non-inferior in terms of patient satisfaction/experience, adherence to post-visit recommendations such as medications, blood work and other medical testing, follow up care, when compared to the conduct of video delivered telehealth visits. Patients will be randomized to receive a routine care visit via phone only vs. video.
This study will characterize the effect of varying degrees of renal impairment on the pharmacokinetics (PK), safety and tolerability of a single oral dose of PF- 06882961 compared with participants with normal renal function.
The HEALEY ALS Platform Trial is a perpetual multi-center, multi-regimen clinical trial evaluating the safety and efficacy of investigational products for the treatment of ALS. Regimen D will evaluate the safety and efficacy of a single study drug, pridopidine, in participants with ALS.
Primary objective: To determine whether the addition of intravenous furosemide with usual antihypertensives is associated with a reduction in mean systolic blood pressure from baseline compared to treatment with placebo plus usual antihypertensives (intravenous labetalol, intravenous hydralazine, or oral immediate release nifedipine) for the management of severe antepartum hypertension. Secondary objectives: To determine whether the addition of intravenous furosemide with usual antihypertensives is associated with a reduction in mean diastolic blood pressure compared to treatment with placebo plus usual antihypertensives listed above.
The purpose of this study is to see whether certain genes may be linked with the development of AL amyloidosis in subjects 60 years of age or older with the blood disorders SMM and MGUS. A limited repertoire of immunoglobulin (Ig) variable region genes have been associated with AL amyloidosis. The clonal plasma cells of subjects with SMM and MGUS may express one of these Ig variable region genes indicating a risk of progression to AL amyloidosis and potentially enabling early diagnosis. We hope this study will help us begin to understand whether Ig variable region gene identification can be a useful tool for assessing a subject's risk of progression to AL amyloidosis.
This is a 6-visit, subject-masked, multi-site, 2×3 crossover dispensing trial that will last approximately 2 - 4 months.
The goal of this prospective study is to validate a wearable EEG seizure detection solution compared to video EEG. Subjects that undergo a clinical video EEG are asked to additionally wear a wearable EEG headband for up to 2 periods of 4h during the video EEG.
The study objective is to evaluate the safety of the operative and surgical exchange procedure of Travoprost Intraocular Implant in subjects with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
The study intervention provides an innovative way of making exercise training and other recommended lifestyle modifications as accessible as possible for knee and hip OA participants by introducing a home-based exercise training program with a motion track feedback technology. Self-management of the pain for the patients suffering osteoarthritis, in the form of lifestyle modification, implementation of coping strategies and exercise is part of recommendations of recent international guidelines such as those by the Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI). Cost and resource constraints typically limit the access to these recommended therapies. Moreover, the study intervention is focused on maintaining and adapting everyday physical activity, as required, in comparison to the control group.
This multicenter study will investigate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and immunogenicity of RO7303359 following single intravitreal (ITV) injection in participants with geographic atrophy (GA) secondary to age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Participants will receive an ITV injection of RO7303359 in the single ascending dose stage and the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) or maximum tested dose (MTeD) of RO7303359 in the expansion stage.
