There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
In this study, adults with newly-diagnosed Philadelphia Chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+ ALL) will receive first-line therapy of ponatinib or imatinib. The main aim of this study is to compare the number of participants on each treatment that show no signs of disease. Participants will take tablets of either ponatinib or imatinib at the same time each day combined with reduced-intensity chemotherapy for up to 20 months. Then, they will continue with single-agent therapy (ponatinib or imatinib) until they meet the discontinuation criteria from the study.
This study will evaluate the safety, tolerability and innate immune mechanisms activation following administration of the combination of Pegylated Interferon alpha 2b (peg-IFN-α2b) with two broadly neutralizing antibodies (3BNC117 and 10-1074) in the setting of well-controlled HIV infection with antiretroviral treatment and a monitored analytical treatment interruption. The current proposal builds on previous experience using interferon alpha, 3BNC117 and 10-1074 alone in separate clinical trials that included a closely monitored analytical treatment interruption. The hypothesis is that the joint administration of peg-IFN-α2b with 3BNC117 and 10-1074 will be more effective than either intervention separately in suppressing HIV viremia during 8 weeks of analytical treatment interruption (Step 4) and reducing integrated HIV DNA in blood and tissue when measured during an analytical treatment interruption in patients with well-controlled HIV infection.
In this study researchers want to gather more information about safety and effectiveness of BAY 2599023 (DTX201), a drug therapy that delivers the human factor VIII gene into the human body by use of a viral vector to treat the disease. By replacing the defective gene with a healthy copy the human body may produce clotting factor on its own. Hemophilia A is a bleeding disorder in which the human body does not have enough clotting factor VIII, a protein that controls bleeding. Researcher want to find the optimal dose of BAY 2599023 (DTX201) so that the body may produce enough clotting factor on its own.
The purpose of this extension trial is to evaluate the long-term safety of tralokinumab.
This research study is studying an investigational drug as a possible treatment for breast cancer that is positive for the protein Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2, also known as HER2-positive breast cancer. The drug involved in this study is: -ado-trastuzumab emtansine (T-DM1)
Assess the impact of bariatric surgery on hepatic energy metabolism and glucose and insulin dynamics in obese youth
This phase II trial studies how well ixazomib, gemcitabine, and doxorubicin work in treating patients with kidney cancer that has spread to other places in the body (locally advanced or metastatic). Ixazomib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Drugs used in chemotherapy, such as gemcitabine and doxorubicin, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. Giving ixazomib, gemcitabine, and doxorubicin may work better in treating patients with kidney cancer.
This phase II trial studies the side effects of bevacizumab and anetumab ravtansine or paclitaxel in treating patients with ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer that does not respond to treatment (refractory). Bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of tumor cells to grow and spread. Anetumab ravtansine is a drug that targets a protein in the body called mesothelin, which can be found in some ovarian, pancreatic and other tumors. Chemotherapy drugs, such as paclitaxel, work in different ways to stop the growth of tumor cells, either by killing the cells, by stopping them from dividing, or by stopping them from spreading. It is not yet known whether giving bevacizumab and anetumab ravtansine or paclitaxel may work better in treating patients with ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer.
To establish baseline prospective efficacy data of current FIX prophylaxis replacement therapy in the usual care setting of hemophilia B subjects, who are negative for nAb to AAV-Spark100, prior to the Phase 3 gene therapy study. To establish baseline prospective efficacy data of current FVIII prophylaxis replacement therapy in the usual care setting of hemophilia A subjects, who are negative for nAb to AAV6, prior to the Phase 3 gene therapy study. The enrollment for hemophilia A participants is completed. At this time participants are only being enrolled for hemophilia B cohort.
This is a pilot study exploring the potential benefit of adding OKN-007 with Temozolomide for treatment in patients with malignant Glioblastoma undergoing adjuvant concomitant radiotherapy. This drug combination is expected to have an anti-cancer effect in patients who have experienced disease progression after first line treatment.
