NCT ID: NCT05001451 Terminated - Clinical trials for Acute Myeloid Leukemia

Study of GDX012 in Patients With MRD Positive AML

Start date: August 13, 2021
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this first-in-human study is to assess the safety, tolerability, antileukemic activity and maximum tolerated dose (MTD) of GDX012 in AML patients who are MRD positive by multiparametric flow cytometry. The study will consist of a dose escalation stage to evaluate various doses of GDX012 after a lymphodepletion regimen comprising fludarabine and cyclophosphamide. Following determination of the MTD of GDX012, the study will expand at the MTD. Patients will be followed up for 12 months, after receiving GDX012.

Phase: Phase 2/Phase 3
Study type: Interventional

This is a Phase 2/3, double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel group, multicenter study to evaluate the efficacy, safety, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and immunogenicity of ravulizumab in adult participants with dermatomyositis (DM).

NCT ID: NCT04997161 Terminated - Hyperkalaemia Clinical Trials

Study of SZC and Enhanced Nutrition Advice Compared to SoC in Dialysis Patients With Hyperkalaemia

GRAZE
Start date: August 17, 2021
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Prescribing Sodium zirconium cyclosilicate (SZC) with enhanced nutritional advice to participants with hyperkalaemia on haemodialysis will reduce serum K+ (S-K+ ) and enable the consumption of more fruit and vegetables and more satisfying diet. The study aims to show that participants using SZC achieve S-K+ reduction as well as participants on SoC (other than K+ binders), without the need for restricting K+ in the diet.

NCT ID: NCT04996004 Terminated - Leiomyosarcoma Clinical Trials

A Study to Learn About the Study Medicine (Called Ontorpacept or TTI-621) Given Alone and in Combination With Doxorubicin in People With Leiomyosarcoma

TTI-621-03
Start date: June 22, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to learn about the safety and effects of the study medicine (called Ontorpacept or TTI-621) when given alone and when given in combination with doxorubicin for people with leiomyosarcoma. Leiomyosarcoma is a tumor of the smooth muscles. This study is seeking participants who have: - leiomyosarcoma that is advanced or has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic) - not received prior treatment with anthracyclines (a drug commonly used in patients with some kinds of cancer, including leiomyosarcoma) - not received more than one prior treatment for their leiomyosarcoma During the first 18 weeks of this study, participants will receive doxorubicin by IV infusion (given directly into a vein) at the study clinic every 3 weeks for a total of 6 doses. Participants will also receive Ontorpacept (TTI-621) by IV infusion at the study clinic on the same day as doxorubicin and again one week later for the first 18 weeks. After the first 18 weeks, participants will stop receiving doxorubicin but will continue receiving Ontorpacept (TTI-621) as IV infusion every 14 days at the study clinic. They will keep receiving Ontorpacept (TTI-621) until their cancer is no longer responding to treatment. We will examine the experiences of participants receiving Ontorpacept (TTI-621) in combination with doxorubicin in the first 18 weeks and then Ontorpacept (TTI-621) by itself after the doxorubicin is stopped. This will help us determine if the study medicine Ontorpacept (TTI-621) given with doxorubicin and then by itself is safe and effective. Participants will be involved in the study for approximately one year, depending on how their cancer responds to the study treatment. They will have study visits about 12 times in the first 18 weeks (when the study medicine Ontorpacept is given with doxorubicin) and then every two weeks after the doxorubicin is stopped and the study medicine Ontorpacept (TTI-621) is given by itself.

NCT ID: NCT04995783 Terminated - Clinical trials for Rheumatoid Arthritis

Predicting Medication Response for Autoimmune Disease

REEF
Start date: September 1, 2020
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Coral is conducting a large study comparing and predicting the relative effectiveness of different medications for autoimmune patients. Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) who have been diagnosed with either Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn's Disease and are undergoing treatment are eligible to participate. Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and Psoriasis (Ps) will also be enrolled. A novel clinical test will be performed to predict the responsiveness of a particular patient to different immune modulating therapies used in these conditions.

NCT ID: NCT04994899 Terminated - Healthy Clinical Trials

Aiberry AI Mental Health Screening Platform

Start date: September 22, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Aiberry is creating a multi-modal artificial intelligence (AI) platform that analyzes facial, audio and text features to screen for mental illness. This multicenter study will be used to collect data to validate the platform's ability to detect depression and anxiety in a diverse patient population.

NCT ID: NCT04992273 Terminated - COVID-19 Clinical Trials

COVID-19 Administration of Single-Dose Subcutaneous Anti- Spike(s) SARS-CoV-2 Monoclonal Antibodies Casirivimab and Imdevimab in High-Risk Pediatric Participants Under 12 Years of Age

Start date: September 13, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The primary objective of the study is to characterize the concentrations of casirivimab+imdevimab in serum over time after a single subcutaneous (SC) administration The secondary objectives of the study are: - To assess the safety and tolerability of SC or single administration of casirivimab+imdevimab - To assess the occurrence of grade ≥3 injection site reactions and grade ≥3 hypersensitivity reactions, in participants treated with SC doses of casirivimab+imdevimab - To assess the immunogenicity of casirivimab+imdevimab

NCT ID: NCT04992052 Terminated - Clinical trials for Total Knee Replacement

Bone Wax Use for Hemostasis During Primary Unilateral Total Knee Arthroplasty

Start date: July 27, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to assess whether the application of bone wax to exposed cancellous bone, after the cemented implants are in place, will provide superior hemostasis in total knee arthroplasty (TKA) patients compared to patients who do not have the bone wax applied. Hemostasis will be assessed by calculating blood loss using the Hb-balance formula.

NCT ID: NCT04990804 Terminated - Surgery Clinical Trials

Opioid Free vs. Standard Perioperative Pain Regimen for Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) Surgery

Start date: August 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Patients undergoing 1-3 level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF) at the levels between C2 and T1 will be enrolled into this randomized prospective study. After enrollment, patients will be randomized utilizing a block randomization strategy to one of two treatment groups - a standard opioid-containing postoperative pain regimen versus a non-opioid postoperative pain regimen. Postoperative outcomes will be assessed.
