The purpose of this study is to have girls play new computer games designed for middle school children and not yet available to the public. The investigator wants to know what girls think about these games. The investigator also wants to learn about the health behavior of 7th grade girls of Hispanic/Brazilian/Latino origin, and the investigators want to test the Mighty Girls program in Miami. Half of the girls in JUEGA will be given the Mighty Girls program and the investigators want to know if this program reduces behavior that puts girls at risk for having sex, drinking, and using drugs. The program tries to reduce this risk by helping girls learn skills to make wise choices, even when their friends have other ideas or want them to make more risky choices This goal is important because US statistics indicate that Hispanic teens are at risk for teen pregnancy and Miami has one of the highest HIV and AIDS rates in the United States. The investigator wants to find out whether the Mighty Girls program is as effective in Miami-Dade County Public Schools as it was when tested in one of Orlando's Orange County Public Schools.
The purpose of this trial is to evaluate changes in immune activity relative to baseline following treatment with Toca 511 and Toca FC in patients with solid tumors (including recurrent high grade glioma [rHGG]) or lymphoma. This is a multicenter, open-label study of Toca 511 and Toca FC. Patients with advanced solid tumors or lymphoma, for whom curative options are not available, will be enrolled into the study, subject to all entry criteria. Tumors must be accessible to biopsy and/or resection. Patients will be qualified based on the presence of specific molecular characteristics, documented by Foundation Medicine (or equivalent) genomic profile report, and specific tumor types. Toca 511 will be administered by IV injection followed by (1) intratumoral injection following biopsy or (2) injection into the resection cavity wall following planned resection in the case of rHGG or brain metastases. Toca FC will be administered orally in cycles of therapy. Patients not undergoing resection of brain tumors will undergo 2 biopsies to allow assessment of baseline and follow-up immune activity in the tumor. Changes in immune activity in peripheral blood will be measured in all patients.
The overall goal is to exploit motor learning principles and adjuvant techniques in a novel way to enhance dysphagia rehabilitation. The proposed study will investigate the effects of three forms of biofeedback on training and determine whether adjuvant therapeutic techniques such as non-invasive neural stimulation and reward augment training outcomes has an effect of dysphagia rehabilitation. Outcomes from this research study may change the paradigm for treating swallowing and other internal functions such as speech and voice disorders.

This 2-part, Phase 1/2 study will test investigational cancer drugs known as CRS-207, epacadostat (IDO), and pembrolizumab (pembro). The purpose of this study is to find out how safe it is to give the investigational drugs to women with platinum-resistant ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer and if it helps patients with these types of cancer live longer or can help shrink or slow the growth of cancer.
This study will evaluate whether a Whole Food Intervention reduces the frequency or severity of esophagitis in patients receiving treatment for non-small cell lung cancer. The Whole Food Intervention consists of yogurt, butter, honey, vanilla, and glutamine with 3 portioning cups, equal to approximately 12 ounces, taken daily before starting radiation therapy.
This is an open label, multi-center, randomized phase I/II study of MLN0128 versus standard sorafenib. Eligible subjects in the phase I trial will receive MLN0128 in escalating doses. Eligible subjects in the phase II trial will be 1:1 randomized to either the MLN0128 arm or the sorafenib arm.
This is a study to see if a Whole Food Intervention (WFI) consisting of yogurt, butter, honey, vanilla, and glutamine will lower the frequency or severity of mucositis in head and neck cancer patients undergoing standard treatment.
