The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether new metabolic imaging will be useful to physicians and patients with glioblastoma for making treatment decisions and seeing how well various types of treatment work. The goal is to improve the way patient care is managed in the future. If you chose to be in this study, you will be receiving novel magnetic resonance (MR) metabolic imaging with standard MR imaging. The research component includes an injection of an investigational agent, called hyperpolarized 13C pyruvate, to obtain dynamic metabolic imaging.

BR101801 in Adult Patients With Advanced Hematologic Malignancies( Phase I)

This is a Phase I-II, multi-center, open-label, FIH study comprising of 2 study parts (Phase Ia, Phase Ib). The Phase Ia (dose escalation) part of the study is designed to determine the safety, tolerability, and maximum tolerated dose (MTD)/recommended dose for expansion (RP2D) of BR101801 in subjects with relapsed/refractory B cell lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)/small lymphocytic leukemia (SLL), and peripheral T cell lymphoma (PTCL). The Phase Ib (dose expansion) part of the study is designed to assess tumor response and safety in specific advanced relapsed/refractory Peripheral T-cell lymphoma(PTCL) at a dose of BR101801 identified in Phase Ia. Once the RP2D has been determined in Phase Ia (dose escalation), Phase Ib (dose expansion) will commence.

Translation of a Diagnostic Test for Lupus Flare Prediction From Bench to Clinic

This study is investigating the development of a diagnostic test intended to predict flares in patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus. Over a six-month period, the participant will donate blood samples for researchers to evaluate the types of proteins that are in their blood. During this time the participant will also visit a research physician to undergo a physical exam that will include an evaluation of the disease's level of activity. Questionnaires will be answered too, either via email, phone call, or a research app for android and iPhone devices. During this six-month period, if the participant experiences a lupus flare, they are strongly encouraged to visit the research physician to receive a complimentary medical evaluation.

Mindfulness-Associated Brain Changes in Adults With Autism

The purpose of this study to measure brain functioning before and after stress-reduction classes to better understand how symptom improvements relate to brain functioning in adults with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two stress reduction classes that will meet once a week for 8 weeks. One group will complete a structured training program called Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) that involves teaching about increased mindfulness strategies and gentle stretching. The other group will review relaxation techniques and other stress reduction strategies and will include social support. Structural and functional MRI, EEG, and behavioral self-report data will be collected to understand more about how the brain changes in subtle ways when people feel better and are more aware of their emotional state.

Breast Milk: Influence of the Micro-transcriptome Profile on Atopy in Children Over Time

This is an observational cohort study of 221 breast-feeding mother-infant dyads delivered at term. The goal of the study is to investigate whether levels of immune-related microRNAs (miRNAs) in maternal breast milk (MBM) influence child atopy risk in the first 12 months, defined as atopic dermatitis, wheezing, or food allergy. Infant exposure to individual miRNA components will be quantified at 0, 4, and 16-weeks after delivery using high throughput RNA sequencing of MBM samples and detailed dietary logs employing the Infant Feeding Practices (IFP) survey. The relationship of individual miRNA exposures (parts per million) and presence/absence of atopy in the 48 weeks after delivery will be assessed, while controlling for environmental exposures (National Survey of Lead hazards and Allergens in Housing), maternal diet, and genetic predisposition. Potential transfer of MBM miRNAs to the infant oropharynx and subsequent impact on immune reactivity will also be explored through RNA sequencing of infant saliva and quantification of cytokine profiles.

Imaging to Improve Brain Stimulation

This study investigates how brains change as a result of a treatment for depression called repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS). People who receive rTMS will have pictures of their brains and brain activity taken by a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner before and after their treatment, as well as up to three times during the six-week treatment course. These images will be examined to see if the rTMS is placed correctly to help treat their symptoms, and what changes in brain activity are happening during the rTMS treatment
