NCT ID: NCT05041660 Completed - Binge Eating Clinical Trials

Using Virtual Reality and Sensor Technology to Enhance Outcomes From Treatment for Binge Eating

Start date: October 14, 2019
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This study evaluates whether virtual-reality-based inhibitory control trainings are more effective than computerized trainings in reducing binge eating symptomatology. These trainings are used to improve people's ability to resist their impulses towards highly palatable foods (such as chips or cookies). These trainings also offer promise as a companion to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an often used and relatively effective therapeutic methodology.

NCT ID: NCT05041634 Completed - Clinical trials for Severe Mental Illness

Physical Activity for People With Behavioral Diagnoses

Start date: July 1, 2019

NCT ID: NCT05041517 Completed - Mental Health Issue Clinical Trials

Brief Online Training (BOLT) for Routine Outcome Monitoring

Start date: February 16, 2017
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The goal of this project is to improve school-based services by developing and testing an online training and consultation system to facilitate the use of measurement-based care (also known and referenced in original grant as routine outcome monitoring). Measurement-based care (MBC) is the target intervention because it is an EBP with extensive empirical support for its ability to improve mental health service outcomes and is a feasible and cost-effective option. Following the iterative development of the BOLT training and consultation package (phases 1-4), the investigators will conduct a randomized control pilot trial (phase 5) to test the (1) impact of the package on MBC knowledge, attitudes and use, (2) impact of varying degrees of consultation dosage on weekly assessments of MBC use, and (3) moderators and mechanisms of impact.

NCT ID: NCT05041062 Completed - Mesothelioma Clinical Trials

A Study of Immunotherapy Drugs Nivolumab and Ipilimumab in Patients w/Resectable Malignant Peritoneal Mesothelioma

Start date: December 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This study is for individuals who have peritoneal mesothelioma, a cancer of the lining of your abdominal wall and organs (the peritoneum). Doctors leading the study would like to determine the effects of treating this cancer with immunotherapy drugs (nivolumab and ipilimumab - the two study drugs that will be used in this study) before and after surgery. Doctors hope to learn if giving these two drugs before surgery will decrease the amount of viable (live) cancer cells that remain at the time of surgery and whether it will delay the time it could take for the cancer to regrow.
