There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
This trial will evaluate safety and efficacy of human engineered T-cell therapies, in participants with advanced tumors. This trial is a sub study of the Master study NCT03967223.
The purpose of this early study is to compare the clinical results of the new Conduit Interbody device to the traditional Concorde Bullet Device. The primary objective is to explore the rates and reasons for re-operation between both constructs at 2 years.
The purpose of the Phase 1 Part of this study is to evaluate the safety, reactogenicity, and immunogenicity of mRNA-1403 and mRNA-1405 in healthy adult participants 18 to 49 years of age and 60 to 80 years of age. The purpose of the Phase 2 Part of the study is to evaluate the safety, reactogenicity, and immunogenicity of mRNA-1403 in healthy adult participants 18 to 80 years of age.
This study aims to pilot test a culturally tailored behavioral intervention called "WECARE" to enhance caregiving mastery and improve psychosocial wellbeing of Chinese American family caregivers of persons with Alzheimer's Disease and related dementia.
The purpose of this research is to investigate the combined effects of fundic ablation (FA) and endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty on circulating plasma ghrelin, satiation, and total body weight loss, as well as the incidence of adverse events. This procedure will be carried out with the HybridAPC (ERBE Elektromedizin GmbH, Tübingen, Germany). The HybridAPC instrument creates an electric current to deliver a safe amount of thermal injury to a portion of the stomach known as the gastric fundus. This thermal injury will target a hormone called ghrelin which is the only known hormone linked to increasing appetite, calorie intake, and weight gain. This procedure is designed to target the bodily effects of appetite control and gastric sensory and motor functions which cause the feeling of fullness and satiation. When fundic mucosal ablation is paired with endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG), this combined investigational approach may lead to decreased fasting ghrelin levels, improved satiation, and greater total body weight loss than traditional ESG. This study will help determine if the combined impact of FA with ESG within the same endoscopic session should be made available to patients as part of a comprehensive weight loss strategy.
The goal of this clinical trial is to test SNK02 in participants with pathologically confirmed cancer that is refractory to conventional therapy. The main questions it aims to answer are: - Is SNK02 safety and tolerable when administered weekly as an intravenous infusion - What is the maximum dose that is tolerated of SNK02 Participants will be administered SNK02 weekly for 8 weeks and undergo medical evaluation to provide initial clinical safety data for the treatment of cancer with allogeneic NK cells as a monotherapy treatment.
The goal of this clinical trial is to test an online intervention for adults with excoriation disorder (skin picking). The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. Is the online intervention effective, compared to a waitlist control condition? 2. Is the online intervention acceptable to use? Participants will be randomized into either the online intervention or waitlist control condition: 1. Participants in the intervention condition will be asked to complete an 8 module acceptance-enhanced behavioral training (AEBT) program for skin picking and 4 surveys over 3 months. 2. Participants in the waitlist condition will be asked to complete 4 surveys over 3 months, and will receive access to the intervention once the study is complete.
Regeneron Pharmaceuticals developed a single-dose pre-filled syringe (PFS) to deliver 8 mg aflibercept. The PFS is a convenient device that contains the study medication that will be injected in your study eye. A PFS offers a sterile, single dose of study drug within the syringe; this eliminates the need for the retina specialist to prepare the injection syringe from a separate vial. This Phase IIIb study is focused on patients with diabetic macular edema (DME) and neovascular (wet) age-related macular degeneration (nAMD). The main aim of the study is to evaluate if the 8 mg aflibercept PFS allows for successful preparation and administration of 8 mg aflibercept by retina specialists. The study will also assess the safety of 8 mg aflibercept PFS use. Regeneron will use the information from the study to better understand if the PFS can be used safely and effectively by retina specialists to administer 8 mg aflibercept.
This study is being done to collect Adipose tissue from young and older individuals and gather data on the effect of methionine aminopeptidase protein (MetAP2) inhibition on that Adipose tissue in the laboratory.
Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) is a common mental health diagnosis. While there are many approaches to the treatment of MDD, current treatments of MDD often do not substantially reduce depressive symptoms among those in need of care. Prior research suggests that combining cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychopharmacology can produce optimal treatment outcomes compared to the use of either treatment individually. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is one promising brain stimulation approach used to treat MDD, especially among patients with treatment-resistant symptoms. Like psychopharmacological interventions, TMS may produce optimal treatment outcomes when paired with CBT. However, standard TMS protocols are time-intensive, typically requiring daily doctor visits for one hour of six to eight weeks. Therefore, an internet-delivered CBT protocol may augment the effects of TMS without substantially increasing patient burden. To that end, the present study assesses if a combined TMS and internet-delivered CBT protocol may produce superior treatment outcomes compared with TMS alone.
