NCT ID: NCT05340764 Completed - Clinical trials for Inflammatory Bowel Diseases

Safety of Reduced Infliximab Infusion Time

Start date: August 1, 2020
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

Remicade is a common medicine used for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. This medication is given as an intravenous infusion over 2 hours. Studies have suggested it is safe to give the infusion at a faster rate. The investigators would like to see if the infusion can be given over 1 hour. The investigators expect that increasing the rate of infusion WILL NOT lead to an increase in infusion reactions and will be just as safe and effective as the standard 2 hours dose.

NCT ID: NCT05340751 Completed - Anesthesia Clinical Trials

The Effect of Hypotensive Anesthesia on Hemoglobin Levels During Total Knee Arthroplasty

Start date: January 1, 2014
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The current study investigates the effect of hypotensive anesthesia on patient hemoglobin levels during primary total knee arthroplasty. Considering that because of the tourniquet there is no blood loss during the first 60 minutes of the procedure changes in hemoglobin during the first 60 minutes should be primarily related to decrease in blood pressure and secondary to fluid loading during hypotensive anesthesia.

NCT ID: NCT05340504 Completed - Bipolar Disorder Clinical Trials

Evaluating the Hypothesized Mechanism of Action of N-acetylcysteine for Bipolar Disorder

Start date: May 13, 2022
Phase: Phase 2

NCT ID: NCT05340478 Completed - Anxiety Disorder Clinical Trials

Adjunctive Family CBT for Veterans With Anxiety

AF-CBT
Start date: August 1, 2022
Phase:
Study type: Observational

Despite the prevalence of posttraumatic stress disorder and anxiety disorders among Veterans, there has been limited focus on the development of interventions that include family members in treatments provided to Veterans. This is a feasibility study that examines a novel adjunct intervention (Adjunctive Family-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; AF-CBT) developed for family members of Veterans undergoing behavioral treatment for anxiety-based disorders. Phase one involves piloting AF-CBT with family members and conducting qualitative interviews to obtain feedback about the utility and acceptability of the intervention. The refined protocol will be used in phase two, which involves an open trial where Veterans and family members will complete the intervention and attend a 1-month follow up assessment, including a qualitative interview.
