NCT ID: NCT04783415 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Mantle Cell Lymphoma

Acalabrutinib, Umbralisib, and Ublituximab for the Treatment of Previously Untreated Mantle Cell Lymphoma

Start date: March 26, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II trial studies the effects of acalabrutinib, umbralisib, and ublituximab in treating previously untreated mantle cell lymphoma. Acalabrutinib and umbralisib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Ublituximab is a monoclonal antibody that may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Giving acalabrutinib and umbralisib with ublituximab may work better in treating mantle cell lymphoma.

NCT ID: NCT04783350 Active, not recruiting - Alzheimer Disease Clinical Trials

Home-based Brain Stimulation for Memory

MemStim-home
Start date: July 6, 2020
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

The proposed project aims to systematically examine the feasibility of remote, caregiver-led tACS for older adults who are vulnerable to memory decline.

NCT ID: NCT04782713 Active, not recruiting - Prostate Cancer Clinical Trials

Smart Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) Screening Study

Start date: December 17, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

This intervention includes the introduction of the Prostate Cancer Working Group (PCWG )Smart PSA Screening Guidelines and implementation of patient navigation/ care coordination for men with elevated PSA (>4.0 ng/mL). The guidelines include: 1. What age to start? 2. How often to repeat screening? 3. What age to stop? 4. What PSA threshold should trigger a biopsy referral?

NCT ID: NCT04782518 Active, not recruiting - Parkinson Disease Clinical Trials

Personalizing Exercise for Parkinson Disease

PEP
Start date: February 19, 2021
Phase:
Study type: Observational

The overarching aim is to determine the benefits of Parkinson-specific exercise programs and general exercise patterns on physical function and disease-related quality of life among people with Parkinson Disease (PD). The significance of this project is that millions of individuals experience adverse consequences of PD and there is strong evidence that structured exercise programs have beneficial effects on motor function and PD-related quality of life. Participation in this study involves online surveys upon enrollment (i.e., baseline) and at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, and 2 years.

NCT ID: NCT04782180 Active, not recruiting - Hiv Clinical Trials

PrEP at a Syringe Services Program

Start date: February 1, 2022
Phase: Phase 4
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this study is to see if providing participants with pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) medicine right away at the IDEA Exchange will help participants remain in HIV negative.

NCT ID: NCT04781855 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Hematopoietic and Lymphoid Cell Neoplasm

Ipilimumab, Ibrutinib, and Nivolumab for the Treatment of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and Richter Transformation

Start date: July 14, 2022
Phase: Phase 1
Study type: Interventional

This phase I/Ib trial evaluates the best dose and side effects of ipilimumab in combination with either ibrutinib alone or with ibrutinib and nivolumab in treating patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and Richter transformation (RT). Immunotherapy with monoclonal antibodies, such as ipilimumab and nivolumab, may help the body's immune system attack the cancer, and may interfere with the ability of cancer cells to grow and spread. Ibrutinib may stop the growth of cancer cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth. Giving ipilimumab with either ibrutinib alone or with ibrutinib and nivolumab may help control CLL and RT.

NCT ID: NCT04781387 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Clostridioides Difficile Infection

Evaluation of CRS3123 vs. Oral Vancomycin in Adult Patients With Clostridioides Difficile Infection

Start date: January 5, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the primary objectives of safety and efficacy (rate of clinical cure) of 2 dosages of CRS3123 (200 mg and 400 mg) administered orally (po) twice daily (bid) and vancomycin administered 125 mg PO 4 times daily (qid) in adults > or equal to 18 years of age with a primary episode or first recurrence of CDI. The study will investigate the plasma concentrations and HRQoL outcomes of CRS3123 and additional efficacy endpoints as secondary objectives.

NCT ID: NCT04781088 Active, not recruiting - Clinical trials for Recurrent Ovarian Carcinoma

Lenvatinib, Pembrolizumab, and Paclitaxel for Treatment of Recurrent Endometrial, Epithelial Ovarian, Fallopian Tube, or Primary Peritoneal Cancer

Start date: September 1, 2021
Phase: Phase 2
Study type: Interventional

This phase II clinical trial studies the effect of lenvatinib, pembrolizumab, and paclitaxel in treating patients with endometrial, epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer that has come back (recurrent). While all 3 study drugs are FDA approved, and 2-drug combinations have been studied, the 3- drug combination has not been studied yet. The investigators believe that the addition of pembrolizumab to weekly paclitaxel and lenvatinib (or weekly paclitaxel to pembrolizumab and lenvatinib) is highly effective and safe with manageable side effects in both recurrent endometrial and platinum resistant ovarian cancer. The purpose of this trial is to study how well lenvatinib, pembrolizumab, and weekly paclitaxel work together in women who have recurrent endometrial cancer and/or recurrent platinum resistant ovarian, fallopian tube, and primary peritoneal cancer, and what kind of side effects patients may experience.

NCT ID: NCT04780217 Active, not recruiting - Colorectal Cancer Clinical Trials

Intravenous T3011 Given as a Single Agent and in Combination With Other Therapy in Subjects With Advanced Solid Tumors

Start date: August 10, 2021

NCT ID: NCT04779827 Active, not recruiting - Covid19 Clinical Trials

Improving Health Equity for COVID-19 Vaccination for At-risk Populations Using Online Social Networks

Start date: May 4, 2021
Phase: N/A
Study type: Interventional

Social technologies for health have already become essential means for providing underserved populations greater social connectedness and increased access to novel health information. However, these technologies have also had negative unintended consequences. The resulting digital divide in social technology takes many forms - from explicit racism that excludes African American and Latinx populations from the resources enjoyed by White and Asian members of online communities, to self-segregation for the purposes of identity preservation and community-building that unintentionally results in limited informational diversity in underserved communities. The result is an often unnoticed, but highly consequential compounding of inequities. This research seeks to use an online social network approach to address these challenges, in which the investigators demonstrate how reducing the online levels of network centralization and network homophily among African American community members directly increases their productive engagement with health-promoting information.
