This study is a randomized, single-blind, controlled trial that will test a multilevel intervention, Tiempo Juntos para la Salud, (Time Together for Health) designed to promote moderate-intensity physical activity; theoretically grounded mediators; and secondary outcomes of cardiovascular health, sleep and cognitive function. Participants will have 4 visits over a year long period. Data collection will occur at baseline, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months among 216 Spanish language-dominant Latinos aged 55 and older with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) [Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) score 23 to 26 for Latino populations].
The purpose of this study is to assess the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamics PD) of multiple ascending doses of INZ-701, an ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase 1 (ENPP1) recombinant fusion protein, for the treatment of ABCC6 Deficiency. The goal of the study is to identify a dose regimen for further clinical development in the treatment of ABCC6 Deficiency.
The proposed randomized controlled trial (RCT) is guided by the RE-AIM (i.e. reach, efficacy, adoption, implementation, maintenance) framework and targets 244 adults from rural Appalachia. The overall goal is to examine the efficacy of iSIPsmarter in a 2 group [iSIPsmarter vs. static Patient Education (PE) website] by 4 assessment (Pre, 3-, 6- and 18-month follow-up) design. It is hypothesized that iSIPsmarter will be more efficacious at reducing SSB consumption than a PE website at post assessment.
This phase I trial is to find out the best dose, possible benefits and/or side effects of fostamatinib in treating patients with lower-risk myelodysplastic syndromes or chronic myelomonocytic leukemia who have failed therapy with hypomethylating agents. Fostamatinib may stop the growth of tumor cells by blocking some of the enzymes needed for cell growth.
A two-arm cluster randomized controlled trial targeting primary care providers will be conducted to evaluate the impact of a multicomponent electronic health record (EHR) intervention on hypertension management. Given the cluster trial design, randomization will be conducted at the site level, and in the intervention sites, all eligible providers will receive the intervention. The intervention consists of enhancing tools already available to primary care providers in the EHR system, including developing and implementing provider disparities dashboards, enhancing electronic decision support, and simplifying self-monitoring orders and communication materials. The intervention aims to improve blood pressure control and reduce health disparities in racial and ethnic minorities. Findings from this trial will provide important insight into whether a multicomponent intervention targeting providers and leveraging health information technology can reduce health disparities.

This is a prospective, within-subject randomized, single blinded study designed to follow up to forty-two (42) qualified and consenting adult females, 18-65 years of age scheduled for elective breast reduction surgery using a standard inverted Wise (inverted "T") incision pattern
Migraine is a neurological disease characterized by moderate or severe headache, associated with nausea, vomiting, and/or sensitivity to light and sound (ICHD 2018). Migraine can be further categorized according to the frequency of attacks as episodic migraine (EM) or chronic migraine (CM). This study will assess the effects of BOTOX in preventing migraine in adult participants with EM. BOTOX is being developed for the prevention of migraine in adults with episodic migraine (EM). Participants will be enrolled in 3 different treatment groups. There is 1 in 3 chance that participants will be assigned to receive placebo. Approximately 777 adult participants with EM will be enrolled in approximately 125 sites across the world. Participants will receive intramuscular injections (injected into the muscle) of BOTOX or Placebo on Week 0 and Week 12. Eligible participants will receive BOTOX on Week 24 and Week 36. There may be higher treatment burden for participants in this trial compared to their standard of care. Participants will attend regular visits during the study at a hospital or clinic. The effect of the treatment will be checked by medical assessments, blood tests, checking for side effects and completing questionnaires.
