This is a randomized, double-blind and vehicle-controlled Phase III study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of topical TMB-001 0.05% ointment for the treatment of CI in subjects with either the RXLI or ARCI subtypes. In addition, a subset of preselected centers will recruit subjects in parallel with either the RXLI or ARCI subtypes for enrollment into an Optional Maximal Use arm for evaluation of the systemic exposure and safety of topical TMB-001 0.05% ointment for the treatment of CI. The Phase III Study is designed in three periods: • Period 1 - Induction (3 weeks): At the beginning of the 3-week Induction Period, eligible subjects will be randomized (2:1 ratio) to either TMB-001 0.05% once-a-day (QD) or Vehicle QD treatment, with use of mandatory standardized bland emollient (Cetaphil™) provided by the Sponsor. • Period 2 - Treatment (9 weeks): The dosing frequency in the 9-week treatment period will be increased in each treatment group to TMB-001 0.05% BID or Vehicle BID. Mandatory bland emollient will be discontinued. • Period 3 - Maintenance (12 weeks): At Week 12, eligible subjects in the TMB-001 treatment group will be randomized (1:1 ratio) to an open-label treatment with TMB-001 0.05% BID or TMB-001 0.05% QD. To be eligible, subjects must have achieved a ≥1-point reduction in IGA score from Baseline. Subjects with less than a 1-point reduction in IGA score from Baseline will be discontinued from the study. Vehicle-treated subjects who achieved <1-point reduction in IGA score from Baseline are eligible to cross over to the TMB-001 0.05% BID treatment group. Subjects with a ≥1-point reduction in IGA score from Baseline will be discontinued from the study. Subjects at the end of the study or subjects discontinued from the study at any time will be followed-up for additional 2 weeks for AEs.

Double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled pilot study in mild to moderate AD patients to assess the effects of treatment with ECHS AD pulsed electromagnetic treatment device on disease progression. Enrolled patients will be randomized to active or sham device group. They will treat themselves at home three times a day for 15 minutes over 120 days. Primary end points are the The Alzheimer's Disease Assessment Scale-Cognitive Subscale and the Mini-Mental State Exam. Participants will be followed-up for 9 months post-treatment.
A group of clinicians and researchers developed an 8-session group intervention that integrates education, support, self-reflection, and action-expectation to help people reaffirm or reconstruct self-grounded purpose after significant life events/transitions. The 8 sessions extend over 2-3 months, with 7 weekly sessions and the final session 1 month after Session 7. The intervention, called the Compass Course is structured around the 6 dimensions of flourishing (autonomy, self-acceptance, personal growth, relationships, purpose in life, external mastery), the goal of which is to help people enact behaviors that move them forward in reframing a sense of self and reaffirming or reconstructing a sense of purpose in their daily lives. Participating in this research will involve an introduction session, where informed consent will be obtained, followed by the 8-session intervention for 9 sessions in total. A team composed of researchers from Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute (CKRI) propose to recruit a convenience sample of individuals who were hospitalized with COVID-19 to evaluate the efficacy of administering the Compass Course to a novel population, to improve psychological well-being, engagement in everyday activities, and purpose in life. A focus group will be scheduled 2 months after the completion of the Compass Course. This session is composed of brief questionnaires and designed to obtain post-course data to help evaluate the Compass Course intervention.
This study will use a randomized controlled design with an active attention control group to evaluate an intervention intended to reduce social isolation and loneliness in persons with SCI/D. The intervention, Caring Connections, is a peer-based intervention which is important because peers with SCI/D play an important role in improving quality of life, mental health, and social health in persons with SCI/D.
This is an investigator-initiated, proof of concept, open study to assess efficacy of a topical Ruxolitinib in subjects with Chronic Hand Dermatitis (CHD). The study will be conducted at the University of Rochester Medical center, Dermatology Department - Rochester, NY. Qualified and enrolled subjects (see Inclusion/Exclusion criteria) will be required to come to URMC Dermatology Clinic for at least five visits.
This is a multicenter, international, randomized, active-controlled platform study with each sub-study designed to randomize subjects to receive a single injection with UB-612 or a comparator COVID-19 vaccine in 1:1 ratio.
The objective of this clinical study is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of NR082 in the treatment of LHON caused by mitochondrial ND4 gene mutation. This study will enroll subjects aged ≥ 18 years old and ≤ 75 years old to receive a single unilateral intravitreal (IVT) injection of NR082 to evaluate its safety and efficacy. The clinical manifestations of all subjects are to be reduced visual acuity caused by LHON associated with ND4 mutation, with laboratory test showing G11778A mutation (a CLIA-certified laboratory) and reduced visual acuity lasted for > 6 months and < 10 years.
