The goal of this diagnostic intervention clinical trial is to compare 18F-Fluciclovine uptake within brain lesions over 60 minutes compared with standard of care positive histology confirmation or confirmation MRI images. The main questions it aims to answer are: 1. What are the dynamics of 18F-Fluciclovine update within a non-treated metastatic brain lesion over 60 minutes? 2. What are the dynamics of 18F-fluciclovine update within recently treated metastatic brain lesions? 3. What is the potential use of 18F-Fluciclovine in delineating true local progression from radionecrosis in patients with clinical uncertainty of indeterminate MRI? Participants will undergo an 18F-fluciclovine head PET/CT scan prior to treatment for brain metastatic lesion(s). The study will characterize uptake dynamic PET images over 60 minutes. Uptake within the lesions and the benign brain parenchyma will be plotted on a time activity curve for 60 mins. Patients will undergo a second 18F-fluciclovine PET/CT to evaluate 18F-fluciclovine uptake in treated lesions over 60 minutes. This will be offered concurrently with the post-procedure standard of care (SOC) MRI to evaluate post-treatment changes. Uptake within the lesions and the benign brain parenchyma will be plotted on a 60 min time activity curve. Results will be compared to the pre-treatment baseline images. A third 18F-fluciclovine PET/CT will be offered to evaluate post radiation changes necrosis from recurrence, for up to 10 patients in our cohort who are under clinical surveillance (up to three years surveillance) and developed MRI evidence of either true progression or radionecrosis with clinical uncertainty after stereotactic radiosurgery. The initial 18F-fluciclovine PET/CT will serve as a baseline PET/CT scan. This will be compared to post procedural histological confirmation.
The aim of this study is to address the problem of epidural failure. The investigators theorize epidural failure can be due to inappropriate catheter movement and this may be related to the length of which the epidural catheter is inserted. The investigators will use electrical stimulation to determine if the catheter moved in the sacral direction with insertion.

This is an open-label study evaluating the safety, tolerability, and PK following single-dose administration of omaveloxolone in pediatric patients with FA. The study will consist of 3 parts (Parts A, B, and C) based on age.
This is a prospective, observational cohort study that will examine how sleep quality impacts postoperative pain and opioid consumption for pediatric patients. The investigators will administer a questionnaire preoperatively to determine which patients have poor or good sleep quality. They will then compare postoperative pain and opioid use between groups for two weeks following surgery. For a secondary aim, investigators will use electronic medication vials (eCAP) to monitor participants' medication use at home and compare to self-reporting.
The purpose of this study is to see if there is benefit in using an IV contrast (sodium fluorescein) called AK-Fluor® to identify nerves during head and neck surgery.
This is a Phase 1/2 study of Multiple-Ascending Dose (MAD) levels for 12 weeks of treatment followed by 24 weeks of open-label treatment with a selected dose of NS-050/NCNP-03 administered once weekly to ambulant boys with DMD, who have a DMD mutation amenable to exon 50 skipping.
Specific Aim #1 - To determine the accuracy of Apple Watch ECG tracings heart rate in children. Specific Aim #2 - To determine if extended monitoring with the Apple Watch can identify arrhythmia events that were not detected by short term clinical monitoring.
The objective of this Phase 2 study is to evaluate the efficacy of methylene blue photodynamic therapy (MB-PDT) performed at the time of percutaneous abscess drainage for disinfection of deep tissue abscesses. The study includes three arms: (1) MB-PDT at a fixed drug/light dose plus standard of care abscess drainage , (2) MB-PDT at a patient-specific dose determined by pre-treatment optical measurements plus standard of care abscess drainage , and (3) standard of care abscess drainage. The primary endpoint is reduction in bacterial burden from pre- to post-intervention, quantified by culture of abscess aspirates.
Background: PIEZO2 Deficiency Syndrome (PDS) is a genetic disorder that affects a person s ability to feel touches and pain. Researchers want to know more about how PDS changes nerve function. Objective: To compare nerve function in people with PDS to that in people without PDS. Eligibility: People aged 18 years and older with PDS enrolled in protocol 16-AT-0077. Healthy volunteers are also needed. Design: Participants will have at least 1 clinic visit. They will undergo a test that measures activity in the nerves. For the test: Participants will place their arm or leg in a comfortable position. Ultrasound will be used to locate nerves. A smooth wand will be slid over the skin to capture images of the structures below. Two thin needles will be inserted through the skin. These needles are much smaller than the kind used to draw blood. The needles will record nerve activity as different sensations are applied to the skin. These include mild electrical pulses; heat and cold; bending of the knee or elbow; vibration; air puffs; pulling a hair; and tapping, stroking (brushing), stretching, pinching, and pushing on the skin at different levels of force. Each test takes 5 to 10 minutes. Participants will describe the sensations they feel. Participants may opt for an additional test that measures how nerves respond after heat pulses are used to create mild redness on the skin. Researchers would like at least 2 tests from each person. Participants may return for up to 3 additional visits, if desired, to complete all the testing.
