There are about 173942 clinical studies being (or have been) conducted in United States. The country of the clinical trial is determined by the location of where the clinical research is being studied. Most studies are often held in multiple locations & countries.
The Research question: Among two standard image guidance techniques [2-dimension (2-D) conventional Fluoroscopy Versus 3-dimension (3-D) Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)], which is the better guidance for Sacroiliac Joint Injection therapy and should be used first? The specific aims: To detect the difference of the first-time success rate, the cross-over rate, the procedural time, the radiation exposure, the incidence of adverse events/complications, and overall satisfaction score between the 2-D Fluoroscopy versus 3-D CBCT guidance for SIJ injection.
A 2x2 randomized crossover of single dose malarone at rest and during moderate intensity exercise under controlled conditions of heat and humidity in healthy adult participants. Statistical analysis of AUC and Cmax will be performed to determine pharmacokinetic changes.
This phase I trial studies the side effects of a silicone topical wound dressing (StrataXRT) and to see how well it works in preventing radiation dermatitis (skin burns and side effects caused by radiation) in pediatric patients undergoing radiation therapy. StrataXRT may help prevent or decrease severe skin rash, pain, itching, skin peeling, and dry skin in pediatric patients undergoing radiation therapy to the brain or spinal cord.
The purpose of this study is to understand how changes to breathing patterns in the chest affect blood flow to the heart from the inferior vena cava in the abdomen. Ultrasound of the upper abdomen will be used to visualize changes in breathing patterns in the chest and blood flow in the abdomen.
The reason for this study is to see if the drug abemaciclib in combination with nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitors (anastrozole or letrozole) is effective in participants with Hormone Receptor Positive (HR+), Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 Negative (HER2-) advanced breast cancer that have certain disease characteristics.
The purpose of this study is evaluate the safety and tolerability of MPH966, a neutrophil elastase inhibitor, and its ability to prevent graft-versus-host disease after hematopoietic stem cell transplant.
This study will seek to describe current practice of antibiotic prophylaxis to identify the effect of appropriate perioperative antimicrobial coverage - specifically regarding timing, dose adjustments, and redosing - on surgical site infections (SSI).
Study of Regional cerebral Oxygenation and Brain Blood Volume changes during Carotid Endarterectomy using the NeurOS system
Researchers are trying to identify the therapeutic effect of injection into the subcutaneous tissue to treat radiation-induced skin injury of post mastectomy in patients with breast cancer.
This study is to assess the diagnostic performance of the LiverFASt Test for assessing fibrosis staging scores compared to the assessment of liver tissue pathology from liver biopsy.
