The primary purpose of this study is to determine the relative bioavailability of brensocatib between the pediatric oral solution and oral tablets in healthy participants.
For leadership positions with only a handful of staff under their direct chain of command, this may not be all-consuming and detrimental to work-life balance. But for NMs with upwards of 100 direct reports, this can make for a never-ending stream of contact points. This study will implement several communication and behavioral strategies to determine how using provided smartphone tools impact work-life balance and professional burnout.
Across orthopedics, the investigators will be using the generic volar locking plates for patients undergoing open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) of the distal radius using a block schedule, meaning one month we the generic implants and one month we use conventional implants from the surgeon's brand of choice. At the end of each month the health system will switch which type of implants (generic vs. conventional) they will use at their facilities. From a quality perspective each patient will be monitored both short and long term for complication and reoperation. This will be done through chart review.
The purpose of this study is to determine if an educational program emphasizing a whole food plant based diet favorably impacts blood pressure while not significantly increasing blood potassium levels, by comparing a group of patients receiving the educational program with a control group of patients receiving no specific education.
This is a cross-over, Phase 1, 4-arm study. The purpose of this study is to measure the relative bioavailability and food effect of crystalline formulation rilzabrutinib and amorphous formulation rilzabrutinib in healthy male and female participants aged 18 to 55 years of age. The total study duration per participant is expected to be up to 36 days, including: - Screening: up to 4 weeks - Treatment periods: once successfully screened, enrolled participants will be randomized to 1 of 4 treatment sequences with 4 single dose treatment periods. - Washout: One day washout is planned after each treatment period hence providing 2 days between doses. - Safety follow-up: participants will be asked to participate in an end-of-study safety assessment upon discharge from the clinical study unit, ie, on Day 8 of the study.
Many universal, evidence-based prevention practices (EBPPs) have been developed to prevent SEB problems, typically in elementary schools, but progress toward widespread implementation has been slow and few efforts have been made to develop and test interventions to enhance EBPP implementation in schools. Schools leaders (e.g., principals) are key to decision making and implementation of EBPPs, and their leadership has been shown to be consistently linked to student outcomes through their intentional efforts to support teacher adoption and use of innovative programs. Helping Educational Leaders Mobilize (HELM) Evidence is a pragmatic, multifaceted, organizationally-focused implementation strategy targeting the implementation leadership and implementation climate of school buildings (through principals) to enhance the adoption and delivery of EBPPs in elementary schools. This pilot study, part of the larger HELM project to adapt and test the strategy based on an existing leadership intervention, Leadership and Organizational Change for Implementation (LOCI), will be implemented in the context of Positive Greetings at the Door (PGD), a universal school-based EBPP previously demonstrated to reduce disruptive behavior and increase academic engagement.
This quantitative study assesses the effects of meditation and relaxation practices on the reduction of burnout and stress in veterinary care workers. Assessments at baseline will include the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) and Maslach Burnout Toolkit, and the same questionnaires were collected in Week 8 and Week 16. The Google form questionnaire will ask the participant for their email address. The form will also include a question eliciting interest in participation in the 8-weeks Heartfulness Meditation program. The program will include tools that promote a heart-based nurturing environment focusing on relaxation, and tools to cope with burnout.
This study evaluates the impact of a fully digital, autonomous, and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven lifestyle coaching program on managing blood pressure (BP) among adults diagnosed with hypertension. Participants received a BP monitor and a wearable activity tracker to facilitate data collection. This data, along with responses from a questionnaire mobile app, were analyzed by an automated analytics engine employing statistical and machine learning techniques. The program delivered tailored lifestyle coaching directly to participants through a mobile app, aiming for precise and effective BP management.
This is a prospective cross-sectional survey-based study composed of both a retrospective chart review and 3-series patient survey. This study will help elicit potential areas throughout the perioperative course of radical cystectomy to improve patient resilience and quality of life, providing opportunity for future interventional studies.
AFGen1 is indicated for use on symptomatic or asymptomatic adults who are at risk of developing or who have atrial fibrillation, where a software assisted analysis of ambulatory ECG is needed to identify episodes of Afib. The purpose of this study is to establish further evidence for the clinical performance of AFGen1 on human participants.
