Parkinson's Disease (PD) is a disease that affects the upper extremity functional skills with clinical findings such as bradykinesia, rigidity, and hypokinesia and causes limitations in the daily living activities of the patients. The influence of fine dexterity, reaching, and grasping movements greatly affects the daily living activities of the patients. Medical treatment and surgical approaches are frequently used among the treatment options for PD today. Physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches for progressive functional loss in PD, together with optimal medical and surgical treatment, form the basis of PD treatment. Recently, it has been stated that intensive and task-specific rehabilitation interventions in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation will be more effective than traditional rehabilitation approaches. On the other hand, telerehabilitation approaches, the use of which has increased rapidly due to technological developments in recent times, enables the delivery of rehabilitation services to patients in distant places by using communication technologies. For this purpose, it is highly valuable to implement a task-oriented training (TOT) program based on motor learning-based principles, which consists of intense exercise content, through telerehabilitation. Although there are very few studies investigating the effectiveness of telerehabilitation-based TOT in PD, these studies have shown that upper extremity motor performance, activities of daily living, and quality of life are improved. On the other hand, no study has been found showing the effect of upper extremity TOT applied through telerehabilitation on balance and walking. Therefore, there is a need to investigate the effectiveness of telerehabilitation-based TOT exercises on balance and walking.
This clinical trial aims to evaluate the clinical, biochemical and microbiological efficacy of ozone treatment as an adjunct to nonsurgical periodontal treatment (NSPT) in periodontitis patients. The main question it aims to answer is: • Is the application of gaseous ozone, as an adjunct to NSPT, to periodontal pockets in patients with periodontitis alters the clinical periodontal parameters, gingival crevicular fluid levels of inflammatory cytokines, and periodontal pathogens compared to NSPT alone? The study will be performed according to a split-mouth design, the contralateral quadrants with similar periodontal status in each patient will be randomly allocated to one of the following two different treatment modalities. Participants will be applied NSPT consisting of supra and subgingival debridement. - NSPT will be applied alone in one quadrant - In addition to NSPT, ozone therapy procedures were performed using a device at contralateral sites. Researchers will compare the sites with and without ozone therapy in addition to NSPT to see if ozone therapy adjunct to the NSPT affects clinical, biochemical, and microbiological changes
The goal of this prospective observational study is to evaluate the incidence, risk factors, and outcomes for development of acute kidney injury (AKI) in intensive care pateints. The main questions it aims to answer are: - What is the incidence of acute kidney injury in intensive care patients? - What are risk factors for development of acute kidney injury? All adult patients admitted to the ICU with a stay of 48 h or more will be included in the study.
The purpose of this 24-week study is to see if the SAGA-001 device is safe and effective at helping people with male pattern hair loss. Two different device configurations are being explored as part of this study. Device A has novel microneedles, lasers, and additional metal microneedles, while Device B only has novel microneedles and lasers. Participants will receive 12 treatments with either Device A or Device B over the course of 24 weeks. Treatments will be performed on-site every two weeks.

Patients, older than 50 years, with vertebral fracture scheduled for percutaneous balloon kyphoplasty will be enrolled for the study. Some patients will be under local anesthesia with sedation and analgesia for the procedure. Some patients will be performed erector spinae plane block with the guidance of ultrasonography for the procedure. The investigators aim to evaluate the intraoperative and postoperative analgesic requirement of patients. Surgeon's and patients' satisfaction will be also evaluated.
